    • The scholarship test is conducted by the Institute of Mathematics and Applications (IMA) and the School and Mass Education Department, Odisha (S&ME Department).
    • The Pathani Samanta Mathematics Scholarship Test is conducted in two separate stages, i.e.,
      a) Stage 1 (students continuing in Class 6 are eligible)
      b) Stage 2 (students continuing in Class 9 are eligible)

    Components of Pathani Samanta Mathematics Scholarship Test (PMST) 2025

    There are three components of the Pathani Samanta Mathematics Scholarship Test:

    • Student identification through the conduct of the Pathani Samanta Mathematics Scholarship examination.
    • Promotion of selected candidates through the provision of scholarship and guidance.
    • Upgradation of school teachers to improve their skills in teaching mathematics.

    How to apply for the Pathani Samanta Mathematics Scholarship Test?

    The school authorities have filled out the application forms for the Pathani Samanta Mathematics Scholarship Test. Below, we have provided a step-by-step guide to fill out the form for reference.

    Steps to Sign Up and Log In

    • Visit the official website, www.bseodisha.ac.in
    • Create an account by clicking on the "Sign up for a new account" button.
    • Fill in all the details and click on the signup button.
    • Once the signup is successful, an email will be sent to the registered email ID for verification.
    • Students must ensure to verify their email ID by clicking on the "Please Click Here to verify account" link to complete the verification process.
    • After that, log in to the account by entering the email ID and password.

    Profile Information Page

    • After logging in, a profile page will be displayed on the screen where students have to select the authority from the drop-down menu.
    • The authority to log in can be either the "Block Education Officer" or the "Head of the Institute".
    • Block Education Officers are the authorities who are responsible for filling out the application forms for the Stage-l category for students belonging to Elementary Schools of their respective jurisdiction (Block/ NAC/Municipal/ Municipal Corporation).
    • While the Head of Institution of Secondary Schools must fill out the forms for both Stage-l & I| of their own students.
    • In case of the Block Education Officer as the login authority, they will be required to choose the Block Education Office and the District they belong to. After this, the BEO must select the Block, NAC, Municipality or Municipal Corporation under their jurisdiction to log in and fill the application forms. No other person will be allowed to log in for the same Block, NAC, Municipality, or Municipal Corporation.
    • However, in both cases you will have to enter your name, Complete official address and mobile number.
    • Upload the full signature of the login authority and click on the "Save" button.
    • Once the profile is saved, the information cannot be edited. Therefore, it is important to carefully check all the details before clicking the "Save" button.

    Registration

    • Click on the "Registration" tab in the left corner, and the registration page will be displayed on the screen.
    • The screen will display the following headings:
      a) One is "Registration", where you can see the list of registered candidates
      b) The other is "New Registration", and if you click on this button, you will be directed to the candidates' school profile page to fill out the school profile.

    Candidates' School Profile

    • On this page, enter the school U-DISE Code for Elementary Schools and the School Code issued by BSE (O) for Secondary Schools.

    Note: U-DISE Code of Secondary Schools will not be accepted.

    • Once the correct school code or U-DISE Code is entered, the name of the school will automatically appear on the screen.
    • After that, select the correct location of the school, such as Block, NAC, Municipality, or Municipal Corporation, and enter the exact location name, as it's essential for the preparation of the merit list.
    • Enter all the other details asked on the page carefully before clicking on the "Submit" button.

    Registration of Students

    • The registration details of the students must be entered carefully and correctly, one at a time.
    • The registration format is made available online at the official website, bseodisha.ac.in and can be downloaded by school authorities. It is advisable to first fill in all the details in the hard copy of the application form before starting the online registration to avoid mistakes.
    • After entering the required details, upload the candidates' photograph and full signature in jpg/jpeg format, with a file size less than 50 KB.
    • Once all the details are entered, click on the "Save" button.
    • Candidates will be given one opportunity to edit the entered details. In case of any error, they can click on the "Edit" button to fix the mistake.
    • After that, review the updated information and click on the "Update" button. The "View" and "Edit" options will appear on the screen.
    • Click on the "View" button, and the complete application form will be displayed along with the "Final Submit" button.
    • After a successful final submission, a registration number will be generated. This number must be saved for future reference.
    • Once the final submission is completed, you will be redirected to the registration page. Under the "Action" column, click on the available icon to view the entered details.
    • A "Print" option will be available at the bottom of the page to download or take a printout of the application form for future reference.

    Documents Required for PMST Exam 2025

    Eligible students can renew their Pathani Samanta Mathematics scholarship scheme for the following year by providing the following documents.

    • Aadhaar card of the candidate
    • Bank details of the candidate
    • Passport-size photograph of t
    • School ID card, admission receipt, library card or letter of undertaking
    • Marksheet/Certificate of the previous examination passed

    PMST Exam Eligibility Criteria

    • The candidate must be a domicile of Odisha.
    • They must be studying in the eligible class as specified in the notification.
    • Must belong to the General/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories.
