Delhi Public School (DPS), Patiala, students of class 9 recently visited Help Age Home, Village Rongla. Students and teachers at the Help age home were moved by the seniors' warm smiles as they greeted the DPS group. Students sat with the elderly and engaged them in civilised conversation as they inquired about their health and general well-being. There were 25 senior residents residing there in all, and 15 support staff members took care of them. Students and the school's music teacher created a pleasant ambiance by performing upbeat songs to lift the spirits of the local seniors.

NFCI chefs taught the students a variety of cooking techniques as well as the subtle differences between different types of cheese. Students were instructed to constantly keep a high nutritious content in anything they intended to prepare because people always favour healthy meals. Under the skillful direction of the Chef, the students thoroughly enjoyed putting together a filling sandwich for themselves.
