Hi Krishna,

You can apply for the SB stream in KVPY 2019. Alongside, you must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the 10+2 examination.

However, you need to take admission in UG course for claiming the scholarship.

Dear Kishan,

For SA stream: You must have secured a minimum aggregate of 75% marks 10th standard.

For SB stream: You must have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in 10+2 examination.

For SX stream: You should have studied Mathematics and Science and secured a minimum aggregate of 75%

As per KVPY Eligibility Criteria you must be enrolled in the 1st year of UG program in Basic Sciences namely Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics & Biology leading to B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S. during the academic year 2019–20. Since you have scored 86% in class 12th Boards, the percentage satisfies the 12th class criteria

Under SX stream, if you're a KVPY scholar, you must score a minimum of 75% in class 12 and should take admission in Basic Sciences namely Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics & Biology leading to  B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S. for the session 2019-20 or else it won't remain valid. You cannot take it forward

KVPY aptitude test is lower than JEE Mains. Whereas the the maths of KVPY is way more tougher than JEE mains. You can crack KVPY by following NCERT books but on
