what should be one month study plan for JEE MAINS and KVPY exam?

Moumoyee Chakraborty 13th Apr, 2022

Hello Applicant!!

As per honest consideration it is not possible for any student to qualify for JEE Mains or KVPY through one month preparation. You need a simultaneous preparation of boards along with JEE mains, for a period of atleast one year to crack the exam. But there are few tips that you can follow in the last month

  • Don't study any new chapter in the last month
  • Revise your strength frequently and detect your weak points to improve them
  • Go through your solved test papers, MCQs
  • Don't panick, don't compare your preparation with anyone
  • Be thorough with last five years question papers

Hope it helps!!!

what happens if a dropper who has not enrolled in 1st year bsc gives kvpy sb exam and qualifies even if he is not eligible

Arhana Chakraborty 3rd Mar, 2022

While studying BSc the student is eligible to appear for the Paper SB during the first year of the BSc only. So if you don't appear for the KVPY examination in your 1st year of BSc then even if you qualify the SB examination, then also you will be not awarded the scholarship amount. So giving the examination will be of no use for your career.

For more information regarding the KVPY you can consider the link below:

I hope this helps. Wish you a great eve!

Can i study from conceptual books from my collage library for national level exam of kvpy?? And then practice questions and mock test?? btw i am appearing for sb stream . kindly tell me

rjain249403 9th Feb, 2022
Hello Shreya, definitely you can start preparing for the KVPY SB as early as possible. You could surely seek help from NCERT and other complimentary reference books available in library. However, keeping in mind the more you practise, revise and learn, the more you'll grasp the concepts faster.

KVPY is considered to be one of the major and toughest exams to crack as an undergraduate as well a school goer.

To devote a good time in revising the basics and making a strong foundation of concepts in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics, you can refer to a handful of books out of the vast variety. These books could be widely chosen upon the basis of concepts that appeal the most to your understanding.

Followed by a thorough study plan, it's always better to try a few mock tests to know the status of preparation and what areas need improvement. These tests are easily available online on educational portals too.

Hope to have helped through this.

All the best for your exams ahead!!
