if i have attempted 3 sections instead of 2 in the part II of kvpy exam , will i lose marks of the wrong questions of the third extra section ?
Hello Aspirant
You don't have to worry about doing an extra section in your KVPY, there will be no major problem for you and so many students have done it in past as well.
Your final marks will be calculated on the best two sections which you did and your section with lowest marks will be neglected and will not be counted in your final marks , so if got lowest marks in section 3 your marks will be calculated according to your marks in section 1 and 2 and you will not loose marks based on it .
So it depend if your marks in section three are in top 2 or not , also please take care of these mistakes in future examination and read and understand the exam patter and instructions carefully
Hope this helps.

Hi there,
If you have forgot your user ID of kvpy then you can go through your email- ID and registered mobile number for confirmational email or text message that have been sent by KVPY at time of registration.

I want to be a physicist but my parents want me to be a doctor! So Im in tense that what should I do now. Can anyone please do a comparison between this two lines and suggest me a line? I like Biology and physics both. In Bio 97% and in psc 95% (10th board)?
Hope you are doing well.
See both the streams are very different from each other.
I am telling about both of them one by one :
For becoming a doctor you have to do a lot of hardwork. First you have to clear Neet ug, which is one of the most difficult exams in India, For getting a government medical college, you need atleast 600+ marks out of 720. Only 10 to 15 thousand students get the government seat out of lakhs of students appearing for the exam.
Government seats are important because of the fees, Where you complete your mbbs within 1 or 2 lakh in any government college, you complete the same within 1 crore in a private college. However If you can afford this much it is completely fine.
Now, for becoming a physicist, you have to do Bsc. Physics hons. and then msc and then Phd. Only bsc does not have much scope nowadays. So to complete all these, it requires a lot of time. There is so much scope after becoming a physicist,,, you can become a scientist, professor, etc.
So it completely depends upon your interest. If you believe that you can become a better physicist than a doctor so go for it only.
If you want to prepare for Neet here are some tips for it :

how can get my kvpy id and password
If you have registered for the KVPY then your ID and the password must have been mailed to your email id. So search in your email and you can get your ID. Now the ID for the KVPY is the application ID. SO if you have the confirmation page, then you can get the ID for the KVPY and if you forget your password then you can retrieve it by clicking on the 'Forget password option'.
