You qualify for Level 2 if any one of these is met:
• Top 5% students of your class
• Top 25 rank holders in your class and zone
• School topper (minimum 10 students appeared and at least 50% marks)

So, 40/60 may or may not be enough . It depends on your rank and how other students performed.
