Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok, Empassion Club organised a Food Donation Drive, ‘Ek Muthhi Anaaj’ in collaboration with ‘Earth Saviours Foundation’ to help those who lack access to basic necessities. Students from Classes 6 to 8 participated in the donation campaign with great energy and compassion.

About Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok

Delhi Public School Sushant Lok was commissioned by Meenakshi Singh, an educationist in April 2005. It was founded under the aegis of the Delhi Public School Society and is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). “The classes have been housed in two child-friendly buildings and every subject uses technology in their spacious, well-ventilated, TFT-enabled Digital Smart Classrooms. The school provides a wide range of sports and extracurricular activities to meet the needs of the students. Along with comprehensive education, DPS Sushnat Lok has become known for its career counselling sessions, internships, university fairs, and exhibitions” says the school’s website.

Cyber Jagrookta Diwas Celebration At Delhi Public School (DPS), Sushant Lok

Delhi Public School (DPS), Sushant Lok, recently observed ‘Cyber Jagrookta Diwas' as part of a CBSE program. During a special assembly, Class 7 students discussed cyber security and taught internet users how to stay safe from fraud and other online crimes. Students from DPS Sushant Lok created a presentation for Cyber Jagrookta Diwas that highlighted cyberethics and several unethical online behaviours that should be avoided, such as plagiarism, cyberbullying, and hacking. Additionally, case studies, interactive lectures, and quizzes increased awareness about cybersecurity.

'Ek Mutthi Anaaj' was a 10-day food donation drive with the fundamental goal of providing assistance to about 500 people in the foundation. Along with other consumables, students and teachers also donated food grains like dal, rice, and wheat. DPS principal Surender P. Sachdeva praised the students for their empathic efforts.
