Delhi Public School (DPS), Bijnor, recently organised ‘Read-A-Thon’ for the students of classes 7 to 11. English speaking activities were held in the classes where students learned the value of reading quality literature and how it may transform them. The Merchant of Venice, written by William Shakespeare, was performed by students at the morning assembly. Primary school students participated in activities like reading newspapers, changing the conclusion of their favourite stories, and making bookmarks, while the students in classes 6 to 8 completed a letter-writing assignment in their classes. Students happily participated in all events.

Delhi Public School (DPS), Bijnore, recently conducted a workshop on high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Automated external defibrillators (AED). Students and teachers gained knowledge of important skills that they can apply at home, in the classroom, at their future jobs, and in the community. Dr Dhairya Vishnoi conducted this enlightening seminar and made students aware of the difference CPR and AED can make in a person’s chance of surviving a sudden cardiac arrest.
