DPS, Bhopal, serves education from Nursery to Class 12 under the CBSE and CAIE curriculum. Here is the general process:

• Admission will be granted based on the availability of seats.

• 25% of seats are reserved for Nursery candidates for RTE admissions.

• For Class 9, an entrance examination will be conducted in English, Maths and Science subjects for a total duration of 3 hours, followed by an interview.

• The minimum cutoff for admission to Class 9 is 60%. Admission will be purely merit-based.

• For Class 11, external candidates are required to sit for an entrance examination (70% cutoff) followed by an interaction session, while internal candidates are admitted based on Class 10 exam cutoff criteria.

Selection Criteria for Admission:

• Admission is granted based on total points earned by the candidate.

• Points are awarded for the neighbourhood (distance from school), sibling, DPS alumni, single parent, girl child, sports/extracurricular achievements, academic performance and miscellaneous criteria.

• If points are the same for multiple candidates, the selection will be done by drawing lots.
