The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has released the HP Board exam pattern for the Class 10th board exams for the academic year 2024-25. Students must appear for 7 subjects, including 5 compulsory subjects and 2 elective subjects. The HP Board exam pattern will remain the same as in the previous year. Students must study five compulsory subjects: English, Mathematics, Hindi, Social Science, and Science. Also, they need to choose two elective subjects from the following options: Computer Science, Home Science, Punjabi, Urdu, or Sanskrit. Each subject carries a total of 100 marks, which is divided between theory and practical/project-based assessment.
To gain a clearer understanding of the exam structure, students should refer to the HPBOSE 10th Syllabus 2025. The HP Board 10 exam duration is 3 hours and 15 minutes. There will be no changes. To pass the HP 10th exam, students need to secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject, including theory and practical exams separately, along with an overall aggregate score of 33%.
The HPBOSE 10th question papers will include objective-type, very short answer, short answer, and long answer questions. Students must appear for 7 subjects and achieve a minimum of 33% marks in each to pass the HPBOSE Class 10 exam. The HPBOSE 10th exams are scheduled for offline mode in March and April 2025. The HP Board 10th date sheet 2025 is anticipated to be released in January 2025. The HBSE conducts both theory and practical exams, depending on the subjects chosen by the students.
