Ruk Jana Nahi Yojana is an initiative by the Madhya Pradesh government to provide a second chance to students who have failed their MPSOS 10th result and MP 12th board result. This scheme allows students to reappear for the failed subjects and improve their grades. Students who have failed their exams are given another opportunity to pass. They can re-appear for specific subjects, not the entire exam. The application process is streamlined to make it easy for students to apply. The Ruk Jana Nahi results are declared within a few months.
MPSOS offers flexible study plans to accommodate various educational needs:
To enroll in the General Scheme, students must have completed Class 8 from a recognized board. They then need to select and appear for five subjects from the list provided by the MP State Open School Education Board. There is no age limit for High School enrollment, but proof of birth date is required.
For Higher Secondary enrollment, a student must have passed Class 10 from a recognized board, and a two-year gap after Class 10 is mandatory before appearing for the Class 12 exam. Also, they can add one extra subject for personal interest; however, the marks obtained in this additional subject will not be counted towards the final certificate or any official recognition.
Students who have failed one or more subjects in their 10th or 12th standard exams conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Secondary Education Board, other recognized boards, State Open Schools, or CBSE can enrol in the Full Credit Scheme of the Madhya Pradesh State Open School Education Board. Under this scheme, students can transfer credit (marks) for a maximum of two passed subjects, provided these subjects are part of the MP State Open School Education Board's syllabus.
It's important to note that if a student's previous mark sheet includes subjects not listed in the MP State Open School Education Board's syllabus, credit will not be granted for those subjects. Additionally, students who received grades instead of marks in their previous exams must convert these grades into marks and submit this information along with their application.
When applying for the Full Credit Scheme, students must submit their original mark sheet from the previous board and clearly specify the subjects for which they are seeking credit transfer and the additional subjects they wish to enrol in.
They have the option to add one extra subject for personal interest; however, the marks obtained in this additional subject will not be counted towards their final certificate or any official recognition
Students who have already passed their high school or pre-secondary exams can enrol in the Partial Credit Scheme offered by the MP State Open School Education Board. This scheme allows them to take up to four additional subjects to further their knowledge. Upon clearing these additional subjects, they will receive a supplementary mark sheet that only reflects the marks obtained in these subjects. Please note that these additional marks will not be added to their original mark sheet, and they will not receive a migration certificate or a new board certificate.
Students who, despite appearing nine times for the 10th or 12th class examination conducted by the M.P. State Open School Education Board, have still not passed, must re-enroll to appear for the same class examination again. In such cases, the student can only appear for the specific subjects that they have failed nine times. They must submit their original mark sheet along with the re-enrollment form and pay the prescribed fee. It's important to note that if a student appears for the examination without re-enrolling, their examination will be considered invalid.
Students who have passed the 10th or 12th standard from the MP State Open School Education Board and wish to improve their marks can apply for the Category Improvement Scheme. By filling out the online registration form and paying the prescribed fees, students can re-appear for one or more subjects in the next available examination. If successful, they will receive a new mark sheet reflecting the improved marks. However, it's important to note that this scheme is only applicable to students who have passed from the MP State Open School Education Board, and students must appear for both theoretical and practical exams for subjects that require practical components
Read the application instructions thoroughly before filling out the form.
Incomplete applications or applications without the required documents will be rejected.
Make sure students meet the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the brochure
Keep a copy of your submitted application for future reference.
Students can contact the MPSOS board for any clarification regarding the admission process.
