Regular Candidates (First-time Appeared in March 2025): Those who did not qualify for higher studies (i.e., failed to secure a D+ grade or above in one or more subjects). They must register for all failed subjects.
Compartmental Candidates: Those who attempted the annual March 2025 exam under the compartmental category and did not attain a D+ grade or above in one or more subjects. They are eligible to register for all such subjects.
Improvement Candidates (Passed All Subjects in March 2025): Regular candidates who passed all subjects but wish to improve their grade in any one subject are eligible to apply. Students must also note that this does not apply to private compartmental candidates.

Yes, if you're appearing for the Kerala DHSE exam , you must fulfil some Kerala DHSE 2nd year exam requirements, such as:
You must score D+ or above age in all subjects in the Kerala DHSE 1st year examination result .
Continuous evaluation (CE): Students must undergo continuous evaluation for each subject, such that must submit the assignments and projects on time.
