Tamilnadu 10th Result 2018 - The Directorate of Government Examination (DGE), Tamil Nadu declared the result of Tamil Nadu on May 23, 2018. Candidates who appeared in the exam conducted from March 16 to April 22, 2018 can check their result here. To check Tamilnadu 10th result, candidates have to enter registration number and date of birth. The overall pass percentage is 94.5, which is an increase by 0.1% compared to 2017. Around 10,01,140 candidates had appeared for Tamil Nadu SSLC 2018 exam. The pass percentage among girls is 96.4 while it is 92.5% among boys.The top three districts with highest percentage are-Sivagangai (98.5%), Erode (98.38%), and Virudhunagar (98.29%). Candidates will get their provisional marksheets on May 28. The Tabulated Mark List (TML) will be sent by the board to the respective schools within a few days from the date of declaration of TN SSLC Result. As per the marking scheme, candidates have to secure 35 marks out of 100 in each subject to pass the exam. Tamil Nadu 10th Result 2018 – Marking Scheme
Candidates have to secure 35% in each subject out of 100 marks. For Science that consists of theory and practical examination, the pass marks is 20 out of 75 and 15 out of 25. Marks secured by candidates in optional language will not be taken into account for declaration of pass/fail.
Tamil Nadu 10th Result 2018 – Marksheet
The provisional marksheet will be issued to both regular and private candidates along with the Tamil Nadu Board 10th Result 2018. Candidates have to collect their original marksheet and pass certificate from the schools. Regular candidates have to get their marksheet from their respective schools. Private candidates have to collect their marksheet from the District Collector Offices and Central Libraries. For any discrepancies in the provisional certificate, candidates should inform the board.

About Tamil Nadu SSLC Exam
The Directorate of Government Examinations conducts the Secondary School Leaving Certificate or SSLC examination three times in a academic year. The SSLC Public Examination is held in March/April while the Instant Special Supplementary examination is conducted in June/July.The Supplementary Examination is held in September/October. Private Candidates can register themselves for SSLC Public exam in Government Examination Service Centres located in all districts. Instant Special Supplementary examination is conducted for candidates who fail in March/April Sessions of the same year. Students who fail in one or more subjects in difference sessions and direct private candidates can apply for Instant Special Supplementary Examination subject to completion of Science Practical Training.
