The Telangana Residential Junior Colleges Common Entrance Test (TSRJC CET) 2026 results will be declared in May 2026. The TREIS Society will come up with the TGRJC CET merit list 2026 of shortlisted candidates after the result announcement. Based on the selection of candidates as per the merit list, students can now download their call letters for the counselling session, which are now available on the official website, tgrjc.cgg.gov.in.

Shortlisted candidates can download call letters by providing their hall ticket number. The counselling will take place in two phases. The TSRJC CET counselling round for Phase 1 will be conducted in the last week of May 2026, while the TSRJC Phase 2 counselling will take place in June 2026. Who can take part in the TSRJC CET Counselling Round 2026?

  • The TGRJC counselling 2026 will take place in two phases, and all shortlisted candidates have to attend in person with original documents for verification.

  • Only candidates whose names appear in the official TSRJC merit list are called for the counselling session.

  • The TSRJC CET 2026 counselling will follow a 1:3 ratio. This means for every available seat, three candidates will be shortlisted.

TSRJC CET Phase 1 Counselling 2026

  • In Phase 1 of TSRJC CET counselling, priority will be given to the high-merit candidates.

  • There will be more choices for the top scorers.

TSRJC CET Phase 2 Counselling 2026

  • Phase 2 of the TGRJC counselling round will be conducted for the unfilled/vacated seats.

  • The TGRJC counselling Phase 2 is crucial for the remaining eligible candidates who still have a chance to secure a seat.

Documents Required during TSRJC CET Counselling 2026

The shortlisted candidates have to produce original documents as specified by the TREIS. The information will be put up on the official website. Some of the mandatory documents are:

  • SSC Marks Memo

  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)

  • Income Certificate

  • Study Certificates

  • Special Category Certificates (CAP, PHC, Sports, Orphan, if applicable)

TGRJC CET Counselling 2026: Selection Criteria

The selection criteria are based on a few parameters such as performance in the TGRJC CET exam, reservation rules, special category consideration, order of preference provided by the candidates, etc. Candidates can check the table below to know the category-based selection criteria parameters:

Based on merit in the Common Entrance Examination, Reservation, Special Category, and Local Area.

Special Category (MPC, BPC, MEC)

Seats are allotted based on a common merit list under:

  • Children of Armed Personnel (CAP)

  • PHC (Physically Handicapped)

  • Sports category against the Open Category.

PHC (Physically Handicapped)

Based on the entrance test merit among PHC candidates.

Minimum disability: 40%.

Sports Category

Based on the entrance test merit among the Sports category candidates with valid certificates (International, National, State, SGF).

CAP (Children of Armed Personnel)

  • The candidate's parent must be an ex-serviceman or currently serving in the defence service.

  • Merit in the entrance test is considered.

  • NCC candidates are not eligible.

Orphan Category

Seats are allotted based on merit in the entrance test among orphan candidates.
