For the academic year 2026-27, the RTE Rajasthan application form will be released in March 2026. Students and their parents will be able to apply online for the RTE admission process till April 2025. Candidates who want to apply for the RTE Rajasthan admission 2026-27 can visit the official website at rajpsp.nic.in. Pre-Primary 3+ and Class 1 students are eligible for the RTE Rajasthan admission process.

The student must belong to the “weaker section” or “disadvantaged group”
Parents’ annual income should not be up to INR 2.50 lakhs or less.
RTE admissions for Rajasthan will be done on the basis of 33 districts.
The students must reside within the catchment area of the non-government school, i.e., the gram panchayat or municipal corporation in rural areas.
Candidates residing outside the school’s urban body or gram panchayat will not be eligible for admission under any circumstances.
Disadvantaged groups: SC/ST students, orphan children, children affected by cancer or HIV, children of war widows, children with disability, children belonging to backward classes where parents’ income is less than or equal to INR 2.50 lakh.
Parents can follow the steps mentioned below to apply for the RTE admission for their children in online mode. They must also upload the required documents during the application form submission.
Step 1: Visit the official website of the council at rajpsp.nic.in.
Step 2: Navigate to the “Student Online Application” from the menu bar.
Step 3: Click on the “Apply Online” button and fill in all the required information in the given fields.
Step 4: Click on the “Submit” button.
Step 5: Download the application form and print it out for future reference.
The following documents are required to be submitted by parents during the RTE admission process for their child.
Residence certificate issued by the concerned tehsildar
Ration card/Aadhaar card/Voter ID for the guardian
Certificate related to “weaker section” or “disadvantaged group” issued by the competent authority
Student's birth certificate
