The admission process across KVs remains similar as per the guidelines set by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS). Admission for classes 2 to 11 is vacancy based while that for class 1 is opened in the month of March/ April every year. The KV admission forms are filled in online mode. 

After applications are over, students are shortlisted through a  lottery system along with a priority category system. Once the list is out, parents can contact the Kendriya Vidyalaya Shalimar bagh for further formalities. 

KVS Admission is confirmed only after successful document submission and fee payment within the stipulated time.

The fee structure for all the KVs across India remains the same and is monitored by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS). Parents can pay the KV fees in both online and offline modes. To pay in offline mode visit any Union Bank of India branch nearest to your place. 

The online fee payment can be made through the link which is given on the KV Shalimar bagh website, It would redirect to an external online Union Bank portal. Fee payment can be made through debit card/ credit card/ net baking/ UPI payment etc. The online portal charges additional transaction charges @1.5% plus taxes for fee payment.
