NSO Class 9 Syllabus 2025 – SOF National Science Olympiad Exam Pattern & Topics
The National Science Olympiad (NSO) syllabus for Class 9 was released by Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) for the 2025-26 session. The NSO Class 9 exam, conducted by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF), comprises 50 multiple-choice questions to be completed within one hour, carrying a total of 60 marks. The NSO paper is divided into three sections: Section 1: Logical Reasoning includes 10 questions worth 10 marks in total; Section 2: Science consists of 35 questions valued at 35 marks; and Section 3: Achievers Section features 5 challenging high-order thinking questions, each carrying 3 marks, summing up to 15 marks.

Level-wise NSO Class 9 Syllabus
In NSO 9th Level 1 exams, approximately 60% of questions are based on the current class (Class 9) syllabus, while 40% draw from the Class 8 syllabus.
In SOF NSO Level 2 exams and the Achievers Section, all questions are based solely on the current class syllabus.

To download the NSO 2025–26 answer key, you just need to visit the official SOF website.
There, you will find a section called “Answer Keys 2025–26” where NSO keys for each class and set are uploaded.
Select your class and question set, and the answer key will open as a PDF. You can then save it directly to your phone or laptop.
