The school provides admission from Kindergarten to Class 12 to the students. It offers CAIE and IGCSE boards in the academic curriculum. The school has opted for limited admission seats in order to maintain an optimal teacher-student ratio. Admission Criteria at The Kings School

The students taking admission for Class 1 and above are required to take a compulsory entrance test which is a part of the admission process. The entrance exam will be conducted for subjects like English, Maths and Science.

Admission Procedure For Kindergarten Classes

• The parents should fill the admission form online and submit it.

• On approval of the admission form by the school authorities, an interview will be fixed with the parents and their children.

• The result of the school interview will be sent over email to the parents.

• If the result is successful, the school authorities will invite the parents to fill the admission form at the office and enrol their child’s ward.

Documents Required for The Kings School Kindergarten Classes

• Two passport size photographs of the child must be brought to the admission office.

• Original self attested Birth certificate of the child should be carried by the parents.

• The parents should carry two photographs of each while coming for admissions at The Kings school.

• Photocopy of parent’s Aadhar card/ID proof

• Photocopy of the child’s Aadhar card if available

• Tahsildar’s certificate for people belonging to SC/ST/OBC and other minorities (if applicable).

For Primary and Junior Classes of The Kings School

• The parents of the student should complete the application for the admission form and submit it online.

• Once the admission form is approved , an interview will be scheduled between the parents and the school authorities .

• If the child is new to the school, the parents will have to pay a registration fee of Rs.300 for the entrance exam conducted for them.

• The result of the interview will be sent to the parents via mail.

• If the result is successful, the school authorities will invite the parents to fill the admission form at the office and enrol their child’s ward.

• Two passport size photographs of the child must be brought to the admission office.

• Original self attested Birth certificate of the child should be carried by the parents.

• The parents should carry two photographs of each while coming for admissions at The Kings school.

For Higher and Secondary Classes of The Kings School Kollam

Eligibility Criteria for Private Students Admission at TKS

• The minimum student age requirement for IGCSE board is 14 years and A-level course is 16 years.

• The applicants can register for the subjects if they are available to them.

• The students applying for A-level course should submit their IGCSE certificate/other recognised 10th board exam certificate along with their application form.

• The private students can register for both IGCSE and A-level examinations.

Application Process for Private Students Admission at TKS

• The students have to fill in the ‘Intent for Admission’ as a ‘private candidate’ provided in the school’ official website.

• If the application form is accepted, the student along with their parents will be called for an online interview.

• The financial terms and conditions will be mailed to the student. The parents should read the terms and conditions thoroughly and understand them.

• The private candidate’s application will be confirmed after the payment of the registration and exam fees.

• To complete the registration process the students will have to download the Examination Entry form.

• They have to fill the form and submit it on the school’s official email address.

• The students are advised to check their details before submitting the form.
