KVPY 2013 Applications are online till August 26, 2013 while offline applications are available till August 29, 2013. KVPY 2013 Eligibility:
For Stream SA:
Candidates must be enrolled in Class XI in science during the academic year 2013-14.
They must have secured a minimum of 80% in aggregate in Mathematics and Science in Class X board exams (70% for SC/ST/PH)
These students will be mentored for one year
Fellowship will be activated only when they enroll in an undergraduate course in Basic Sciences (B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S.) after Class XII
They must also secure a minimum of 60% in Class XII (50% for SC/ST/PH)
The mentoring period will be at the Regional Science Camp/National Science Camp with all expenses met by KVYP.
For Stream SX:
Candidates must be enrolled in Class XII in science during the academic year 2013-14.
They must intend to enroll in an undergraduate course in Basic Sciences like Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics & Biology leading to B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S. in the year 2014-15
They must also secure a minimum of 60% in Maths & Science Subjects Class XII (50% for SC/ST/PH)
Candidates must be in their secondyear of study in Cambridge International Examination Board
They must intend to enroll for an undergraduate programme inBasic Sciences namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology in the Academic year 2014-2015 (like B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S.)
For Stream SB:
Candidates must have enrolled in the first year of study in basic sciences undergraduate studies in Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics & Biology leading to B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S. during the academic year 2013–14
They must have secured a minimum of 60% in Maths & Science Subjects Class XII board exams (50% for SC/ST/PH)
They must securea minimum of 60% in the 1st year final examination of B.Sc./B.S./B.Math./B.Stat./Int. M.Sc./M.S (50% for SC/ST/PH)
KVPY 2013 Selection Procedure: On the basis of an Aptitude test to be held on October 27, 2013 followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates.
Note: The Aptitude test will be in Hindi and English. Details of centres and seat numbers of candidates will be available in the first week of October, 2013
KVPY 2013 Admit Card:
Online: Students who have applied online may download the KVPY 2013 Admit Card from the second week of October 2013.
Speed Post: Students who have applied offline will receive their KVPY 2013 Admit Card by speed post.
KVPY 2013 Fellowships:
For SA/SX/SB (1st to 3rd years of B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math. / Integrated M.Sc. /M.S):
Monthly Fellowship: Rs 5000
Annual Contingency Grant: Rs 20,000
For SA/SX/SB (during M. Sc. / 4th to 5th years of Integrated M.Sc. /M.S):
Monthly Fellowship: Rs 7000
Annual Contingency Grant: Rs 28,000
Renewal of the KVPY Fellowships: annually subject to academic performance of the candidates (60%) in addition to participation and satisfactory performance in the Summer Camp in the first year and summer project every year.
Note: KVPY fellowship for the students selected under the stream SA/SX/SB will be started after the Class XII / (10+2) / 1st year UG, ONLY if they pursue an undergraduate course in Basic Sciences.
KVPY Summer Program: For a week at the Indian Institute for Science Education and Research (IISER) - Kolkata, Pune, Mohali, Bhopal, and Trivandrum.
Other Privileges of KVPY Fellows: Access toNational Laboratories/ Universities who have agreed to extend special privileges like library, laboratory facilities, etc. to KVPY Fellows on production of the ID card issued to every KVPY Fellow

Offline: Candidates have to send a request on a plain paper enclosing the paid “Bank Challan/ Pay-in-slip” clearly indicating the stream SA/SX/SB on the envelope to the KVPY authorities at the address given below.

see you can appear in kvpy exam in 12th class, when you are in final year of 10+2 course. there is no need to mention your 11 th percentage, but question will come from 11th and 12th syllabus both. so you need to study strictly for both of the exam.
follow the previous years question, and if you are preparing for jee main exam or neet exam, it is an added advantage for you.

The kvpy exam is held for different class group of students. 11 appearing students come under the stream SA. The eligibility for Student coming under S.A stream to apply for KVPY exam is as
eligibility criteria - Students enrolled in XI Standard (Science Subjects) during the academic year 2019-20 and having secured a minimum of 75% (65% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects in the X Standard Board examination immediately in the preceding academic year are eligible to appear for Aptitude test.
So according to above mentioned criteria you can give KVPY exam.
