Sainik School Satara Admission 2019 – Sainik school society has released the result of All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) for admission to Sainik school Satara 2019 held on January 6 and February 24 for class IX and VI respectively. The result is released in the online mode for the class 9th and 6th students on February 4 and March 8. For class VI, Sainik school Satara 2019 admission test was cancelled due to some administrative reasons and was re-conducted on February 24, 2019. The society issued new admit cards for the Sainik School Satara Admission test which were available to download from February 8, 2019 on the official website. Candidates could download the admit card by entering their application form number and password generated during the application process. They could also collect the admit card from Sainik School Satara. No candidate was allowed to appear for the entrance exam without the admit card. Selected candidates will qualify for the round of medical test. 

The application form for Sainik school Satara admission was available between October 8 and November 26, 2018 for 63 seats in Class 6th and 7 seats for class 9th for admission to Sainik School Satara 2019. Sainik School Satara Result 2019

The result of the AISSEE exam has been released in online mode for admission to Sainik School Satara 2019. The result is available to download in form of merit list of selected candidates for class 9 and for class 6 the result has been declared for all candidates. The merit list for class 6 will be released soon. These selected candidates go on to appear for their medical examination after which a final merit list is declared for admission to Sainik school Satara 2019 on March 11.

Sainik School Satara Exam Pattern

The exam consists of objective type questions and is conducted in offline mode. The question paper for Admission to Sainik School Satara is based on an entrance test comprising Maths, GK (Sc & S.St), Language and Intelligence for Class VI; Maths, Intelligence, English, General Science and Social Studies for Class IX, followed by an interview and medical examination. Sainik School Satara Admission Reservation

  • 15% of the available seats are reserved for Schedule Caste candidates and 7.5% for Schedule Tribe candidates.

  • 25% of the balance seats are reserved for the children of serving and retired defence personnel.

  • The remaining seats are filled up by open category candidates based on the order of merit.

Sainik School Admit Card 2019

Sainik school society released the admit card of Sainik school 2019 on February 8, 2019 in the online mode. Candidates needed to enter their application form number (generated at the time of application process) and date of birth to view and download the Sainik school 2019 admit card. Admit card is the important document to carry the Sainik school admit card 2019 on the exam day as no candidate is allowed to write the exam without it.

Sainik School Satara Eligibility Criteria 2019

Boys seeking admission in Class 6th should be 10-11 yrs of age. Those seeking admission in Class 9th should be aged 13-14 yrs as on March 31, 2019 (in the year admission is being sought). For admission to class 9th, the boys should be studying in class 8th in a recognized school. Admissions will be made strictly in order of merit only in classes 6th and 9th.

The application form, prospectus and sample question papers were available by Sainik School Satara from October 8, 2018, to November 26, 2018. Online application form can be filled up on the school website. Printout of completed application form was required to be sent along with the demand draft. After the completion of the application process, the admit card will be made available.

Sainik School Satara Admission Process 2019

The result has been declared for class 9 students and for class 6 the result will be declared in the month of March 2019. Selected candidates, as per merit, out of the qualified candidates will have to sit for the medical test in the Government Civil Hospital. The final merit list is prepared by April 2019 on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the written test and interview. Admission will be given on the basis of final merit list and reservation form.

Sainik School, Satara is situated at Satara City, on Pune-Banglore highway. It was the first Sainik School amongst a chain of 24 such schools established in the country. Sainik School, Satara was founded on June 23, 1961 by the then Defence Minister of India, Shri V K Krishna Menon with the aim of preparing boys academically, mentally and physically for entry into the National Defence Academy and other Defence Academies, who hail from financially weaker sections of the society and thereby removing the regional imbalance for such entries in the Armed Forces.
