Gurukul The Day School is also called GDS. The school was established in 2001 by Mr.Ajit Karkare and Mrs.Gauri Karkare. It is affiliated to Cambridge’s CAIE (IGCSE programme). The school is located in Dombivli, Maharashtra. It is one of the top schools in Thane. The GDS school offers admission from Playgroup to Class 10 to the students. Since the school follows the Cambridge curriculum, the classes are named as three stages as Cambridge Primary, Cambridge Secondary 1 and Cambridge IGCSE.

There are a maximum of 40 students in each class at Gurukul The Day School. It also has the Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) based on the scores of IGCSE students. For the Primary and Secondary classes, the school has CAIE Endorsed resources for the subjects of English, Maths and Science. The school believes in the policy of quality learning so it has a teacher-student ratio of 1:20.

Admission Procedure

CAIE

The school offers admission from Playgroup to Class 10 to the students. The admissions at GDS are held throughout the year. The parents must visit the school campus for the enquiry for the school admission. For admission, there will be an appointment with the admission counsellor appointed by GDS school. The documents required and other formalities will be explained to the parents by the counsellor after he/she solves their queries during the appointment.

The admissions at GDS school are on a first-cum-first-serve basis due to limited seats for all the classes. The parents should confirm the school availability first on public/other holidays for the admission related process.

Admission Process at Gurukul The Day School

The parents for taking admission at Gurukul The Day school must have a face-to-face prior appointment with the school authorities to understand the non formal system of education and admission process.
The parents must fill a quick enquiry form and submit it on the official website.
After submitting the form online, the school authorities will send an appointment link to the parents.
The parents must send the online application form with all the required details mentioning their preferred appointment date and time.
The school authorities will then revert back with the confirmation of the appointment to meet the student’s parents in person.
