Chapter 1: Knowing The Numbers

In the first chapter, we will deal with the number of systems, some basic operations on numbers, etc. We have learned to work with numbers in our earlier classes. We have added, subtracted, multiplied and divided. In chapter 1 knowing our number, we will move forward on interesting things like patterns in number sequences with a brief review and revision as well. NCERT solutions for class 6, chapter 1, contains 19 questions in 3 exercises. The first exercise has 4 questions and each question contains sub-questions. Chapter 2, Whole Numbers

In this chapter, students learn about the important topic, which is the whole numbers. We already studied, what are natural numbers? The natural numbers are the collection of numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5... and the whole number is the collection of the natural numbers along with zero. The chapter deals with whole numbers and its properties. There are a total of 3 exercises with 20 questions in the Class 6 Maths NCERT solutions chapter 2. Chapter 3: Playing With Numbers
