CBSE Class 10th Preparation Tips for English

A good preparation strategy is the first step towards success. Hence, students should bear a few things in mind before making the study schedule. Follow the given CBSE board exam preparation tips to increase your productivity in the examination-

  • Make reading your habit- Reading more will help you to understand the use of the English language in a better way. The more you read, the better will be your fluency in reading and writing. Reading is also a fuel to your thoughts. Hence, instead of converting your thoughts in English, start thinking in English. This also helps in increasing your writing skills.
  • Write regularly- Without writing your thoughts, it would be hard to know whether it is right or note. Most of the times people think correctly while writing their thoughts, they messed the English grammar.
  • Focus of Tenses- Students usually face problems while using the proper tenses. This can only be resolved through regular practice. Students should regularly solve previous years’ CBSE Class 10 Question papers to check the pattern and type of questions asked in the board examination.
  • Get Experts Advise- To get instant help, students try to take online help rather than contacting their teachers or experts. It is suggested to avoid reading online articles as they are not helpful. Sometimes online writers only write content to provide information rather than focus on the grammatical issues. Hence, read only the best Class 10 English books or reference books.

The attendance criteria is strict and is followed in most cases in almost all the schools in the country. Since you have not completely specified your condition, I assume you are asking about Class 10 or 12 attendance regulations and in that case, CBSE and all other education boards have strict regulations, so you should not fiddle with them in ideal cases. How can I cancel my Improvement form of class 10th?

Tamajit Student Expert 23rd Oct, 2019

Hi Arshad,

As per CBSE guidelines, there is no mention of a methodology for cancelling your improvement examination or nullify your candidature for the improvement examination. However, what you can do is you can skip the improvement examination only if you do not want to appear for the examination.

CBSE generates two separate marksheets for improvement candidates: one during the normal attempt of the examination and the other after the improvement examination which carries the marks of the improvement examination, thus you can show the mark sheet of your first or normal attempt and that way there is no evidence to prove the fact that you applied for the improvement examination. But do keep in mind that you must have an explanation for the academic gap that you are going to have between class X and class XII as that might be asked in your future places of academic enrollment.
