NCERT Syllabus for Class 10 English - CBSE Class 10th Board examinations are conducted by NCERT in the month of March, every year. The CBSE class 10 English exam will be of a total of 80 marks and the duration of the same is 3 hours. The section-wise weightage of marks has been provided below:
Testing competencies/ learning outcomes
Very short answer type questions (1 mark)
Short answer questions 30-40 words (2 marks)
Long answer questions 100-150 words (HOTS) (8 marks)
Very long answer questions 150-200 words (10 marks)
