A well-structured CBSE exam day routine can significantly reduce stress and improve performance. To help students plan their exam day effectively, a suggested routine is provided below.
Start Your Day Right: Wake up early to allow yourself ample time to prepare. Have a balanced breakfast to fuel your brain. Avoid anything too spicy or risky that might upset your stomach. Bananas are a great, easily digestible option.
Double-check the Details: Confirm the exam venue, date, and time. It's easy to make a mistake in CBSE board exam, so double-check all the details to avoid any last-minute surprises.
Gather Your Essentials: Before leaving home, ensure you have everything you need:
Identification: Your admit card and school ID card.
Stationery: Pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, ruler, and any other necessary items (check the exam guidelines).
Map/Directions: If you're unfamiliar with the location, have a map or directions to the exam centre.
Use the Facilities: Visit the restroom before the exam begins. CBSE exams can be long, and you don't want to waste valuable time during the exam.
Identify Yourself: Remember to write your name clearly on the exam paper. It might seem obvious, but many students forget!
Read Carefully and Plan: Read through the entire CBSE questions paper carefully before you start answering. Quickly plan how much time you should allocate to each section or question.
Prioritize: Begin with the questions you feel most confident about. Do not feel obligated to answer them in order.
Break Through Blocks: If you encounter a mental block, start writing down anything related to the topic. This can often help you to recall the information you need.
Time Management: Stick to your time allocation for each section. Do not get bogged down on one question and run out of time for others. Leave any questions you're unsure about for the end.
Clarify Doubts: If you have any questions about a question, don't hesitate to ask the invigilator for clarification.

Changing from the CBSE board to the Odisha CHSE in Class 12 is generally difficult and often not ideal due to differences in syllabi and examination structures. Most boards, including Odisha CHSE , do not recommend switching in the final year of schooling. It is crucial to consult both CBSE and Odisha CHSE authorities for specific policies, but making such a change earlier is advisable to prevent academic complications.
