Operation Sindoor, initiated by India on May 7, 2025, involved precision strikes targeting terror infrastructure in Pakistan. While this operation has led to heightened security measures and temporary closures of educational institutions in border areas such as Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, and Rajasthan, there is no indication that it will affect the release of CBSE Class 10 and 12 results in Karnataka or other regions.
CBSE has maintained its examination and result schedules even during periods of national tension. For instance, during the prolonged Operation Parakram in 2001, CBSE results were announced on schedule and remained unaffected by the military standoff. As of now, CBSE has not issued any official statement suggesting a delay in the 2025 results due to Operation Sindoor.

Changing from the CBSE board to the Odisha CHSE in Class 12 is generally difficult and often not ideal due to differences in syllabi and examination structures. Most boards, including Odisha CHSE , do not recommend switching in the final year of schooling. It is crucial to consult both CBSE and Odisha CHSE authorities for specific policies, but making such a change earlier is advisable to prevent academic complications.
