CBSE 10th English Grammar is evaluated through tasks such as gap-filling (with one or two words), editing or omission of errors, and sentence re-ordering or transformation in context. In the CBSE Class 10 English paper, the grammar component is allotted approximately 10 marks. For the Language & Literature stream, these marks fall within the “Writing Skills + Grammar” section (which carries roughly 20 marks).
