Prepare a proper study plan based on the syllabus; allocate appropriate time for revision to different sections based on their weight-age.
Prepare high-quality crisp revision notes so as to quickly brush up the concepts.
Practice questions and try to solve the questions by yourself; if you are unable to do it, even after sufficient attempts then refer to the solution.
Solve a full-length question paper, it will help to mentally prepare and get exam ready.
Fix your weak areas, address your doubts, procrastination must be avoided.
Analyze your mistakes, it’s important to spot and analyze the mistakes committed.
Sufficient time must be devoted to revising lengthy chapters viz Electrostatics & Optics.
Practice a few subjective questions like those based on Cyclotron, Magnetometer; even small chapters like Alternating Current.
You will have to prepare the following chapters thoroughly :
Magnetic properties of materials
Electromagnetic Wave & Communication System
Draw diagrams & label different parts appropriately while solving numerical problems.
It is important to practice multiple choice questions and very short answer questions from NCERT exemplar.
There will be numerical based questions in Physical Chemistry, so it is suggested that write important formulae of each chapter and practice numerical based questions.
While Attempting numerical:
Write the formulae used.
Substitute the values.
Calculate and write the final answer with units.
Attempt old board question papers and attempt mock tests within a fixed time limit.
This is a very scoring section. Typically the type of questions asked are:
Conceptual questions (reasoning based)
Mechanism of reaction (as per NCERT)
Try to be consistent in your preparation and practice daily.
While reading ensures that you write the solution yourself several times. It will help to develop that flow and gain speed & accuracy. Remember, balancing of reaction is not needed.
Usually, students ignore and/or do not revise chapters like Polymers, Bio-molecular and Chemistry in everyday life. These chapters collectively carry 10 marks weightage, so do revise them.

It is important to devote more time and effort on your weaker topics.
Solve & practice previous years question papers along with mock tests.
The most important topic where you can score is Calculus (it carries a weightage 35 marks). Focus on continuity and differentiability, logarithmic differentiation, high order derivative, increasing & decreasing functions, maxima & minima word problems, integration, area, differential equation
Algebra (Matrices & Determinants), 10 marks.
Relation & Function & Inverse trigonometric function (8 marks)
Vectors & three-dimensional geometry ( 2 - 4 marks)

actually it is not possible to take admission in any college of BTech after just completing your 10 + 2 compartment exam. You have to give the exam of of any joint entrance examination for engineering or similar like this. You have to pass on this examination and if you have a good rank you can take admission in good colleges. Don't worry if you have not a good rank you can take admission in private colleges also with low ranks also.
Hope this will help you.
Compartment is an extra chance to appear for the exam which you might not be able to qualify in the first time. Compartment is given if you are fail in only one subject, so yes if you fail in one subject then you're allowed to give compartment, however, if you have fail in more than one subject, then it is considered as fail.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
Yes this is true that if you fail in any of your subject you get compartment and have to reappear for the examination.
As per your query you asked if you failed in 2 out of 6 subjects so it is not about 2 subjects if you fail in even one subject then you have to give the exam again to clear it out.
Good Luck !
