IOQM Result 2024-25 OUT @ioqexam.in, Check IOQM Provisional Score

The Mathematics Teachers' Association, India (MTAI) will announce the IOQM result 2025-26 for stage 1 in the second week of October 2025. Last year, it was declared on October 9, 2024. The IOQM results are published on the official website at ioqexam.in. Students can check their IOQM result 2025 by logging in using their registration number and date of birth. IOQM 2025 provisional scores are made available in the student login. The score challenge will be accepted in the second week of October 2025.

IOQM stands for Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics. It is a national-level mathematics competition organised by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) to identify talented students in mathematics. Students who have successfully cleared stage 1 of the IOQM exam 2025-26, are eligible to register for the stage 2 RMO exam 2025-26. Along with the announcement of IOQM stage 1 results, the registration link for stage 2 will be made available.

Important dates of IOQM Result 2025

Last year, MTA released the answer key on the same day of the exam, which is too early compared to previous years. But the authority delayed the announcement of IOQM exam scores in 2024. The table below has the important dates related to IOQM results 2025-26 for students' understanding.

How to Check IOQM Result 2025-26?

Students can follow the steps mentioned below to check their IOQM result 2025.

• Step 1: Visit the official website at ioqmexam.in.
• Step 2: Locate the link titled “IOQM 2025” and select the relevant link related to the students’ region and class.
• Step 3: Enter the login credentials mentioned in the IOQM admit card in the Student Login section and submit.
• Step 4: The IOQM result 2025-26 will appear on the screen.
• Step 5: Download and print the result for future reference.

Selection Criteria of IOQM result 2025-26

More than 10,000 students from various regions and schools will be selected based on the IOQM results 2025-26 to proceed to the next stage of the examination. The selection criteria are outlined below:

• Any student who scores at least 10% of the total marks in the IOQM 2025-26 paper will receive a certificate.
• To qualify for RMO 2025, a student must score at least 10% of the total marks in the IOQM 2025-26 paper, although this is not the sole qualifying factor.
• Students in classes 8, 9, 10, or 11 who score at least 10% in the IOQM 2025 paper will be categorised as category A students.
• Students in class 12 who score at least 10% in the IOQM 2025-26 paper will be categorised as Category B students.
• The top 200 students from Category A, including ties for the 200th position, will qualify for RMO 2025-26.
• The top 40 students from Category B, including ties for the 40th position, will qualify for RMO 2025-26.
• Additionally, 5 more female students from Category A will qualify for RMO 2025-26, irrespective of the number of female students already qualifying in the top 200 from Category A, under the Girls' quota.
• There is no separate Girls' quota for Category B. A female student from Category B can qualify for RMO 2025 only if she is among the top 40 students in Category B.

Cutoff for IOQM 2025 Region Wise

The IOQM cutoff marks 2025-26 are announced separately for every state/JNVs/KVs. Students can find their roll number in the merit list if they achieve the Pre-RMO cut-off score. The students who have qualified in the IOQM 2024 will be eligible for RMO selection.
