I got 147 marks in NTSE. Still I am not selected. Why is it so?

ayush mishra 20th Feb, 2020

Yashica, See, the cutoffs for NTSE STAGE 1 examination varies from state to state and from category to category, so it may be so that ypu would not have cleared the cutoffs required fir eligibility to Stage 2 examination. Since you have not specified your state of examination, it is difficult to tell the cutoff of your states' NTSE STAGE 2 eligibility as released by the SCERT. So, kindly rewrite the query with the name of your state or you can mention it in a comment and I would surely try to help you but in your case, the probability is that your score is less than the cutoff score for the state and so you don't see your name in the selected list.

However, if you want to know the previous years cutoff or this years' cutoffs of various states , then you can visit this link
