NTSE Himachal Pradesh Result 2020- SCERT, HP will release NTSE HP result 2020 in the first week of January at himachalservices.nic.in. The NTSE Himachal Pradesh result 2020 will be announced in both online and offline mode in form of merit list. Shortlisted students can check their name and roll number along with the marks scored in SAT and MAT sections in the merit list. Along with the result, SCERT releases the cutoff score. Students who qualify stage 1 exam are further eligible for stage 2 of NTSE exam. NTSE Himachal Pradesh 2020 was conducted on November 3, 2019. One must obtain a minimum cut off marks to be eligible to appear for the stage 2 exam. NTSE 2020 Exam is a national scholarship exam that is conducted in 2 stages i.e Stage 1 (State Level) conducted by SCERT, DGE and Stage 2 (National Level) conducted by NCERT. NTSE Stage 1 exam will be conducted in the first week of November 2019. Aspirants who qualify stage 1 will appear for stage two exam which is conducted in the second week of June 2020 and the result for the same is announced in the month of September 2020.

A pdf file consisting of the name of shortlisted students will appear on the screen.
Aspirants must check their name and school name in pdf to know whether they are shortlisted.

Candidates who qualified NTSE stage 1 exam can download NTSE stage 2 admit card from the official website. Around 3000 students across the country will be awarded NTSE Scholarship after qualifying Stage 2 exam.

Students who qualify stage 1 will appear for stage 2 of the NTSE exam which will be conducted in the first week of June 2020. Selected candidates can download the admit cards from the official website in the month of May 2020. The NTSE stage 2 result will be declared on ncert.nic.in in the month of September 2020.
SCERT, Himachal Pradesh publishes the cutoff for General, SC, ST, OBC and PC category. The cutoff is the minimum qualifying score required to qualify for Exam. Students who score marks equal to or more than NTSE Himachal Pradesh cutoff will succeed to the final stage of NTSE 2020.

In NTSE Stage 2 exam, there is no negative marking.
NTSE is conducted only for the students of class 10. Students of class 12 are not eligible for NTSE exam
The scholarships are classified under 3 major categories:
(a) For class X and XII scholarship is Rs. 1250 per month.
(b) For UG and PG scholarship has been Rs. 2000 per month.
(c) Students pursuing PhD will be given scholarship as per UGC norms.

Charu, I am sorry you are not in the list. The reason for people below your marks getting there name in the list can be due their reservation category or some other reservation provided to them like EWS that is economic backward classes reservation. So it's due to that they got the name in the list. I hope you make it in the third round
Ntse stage 1 exam was held in the Month of November 2019. The result for ntse stage 1 exam is declared by respective scert. Many states have declared their result. So it is expected that soon the result for wb ntse will be declared most probably in Second week of March 2020. You can check the official website scholarships.wbsed.gov.in for result.
