NTSE Punjab Result 2020: SCERT Punjab will announce the NTSE Stage 1 Result in the last week of January 2020 at the official website. Punjab NTSE result 2020 will be announced in the form of a merit list consisting of the basic details of students, marks obtained in MAT, SAT and their respective school details. SCERT will also release the Punjab NTSE cut off along with the declaration of result. Selected candidates of NTSE exam stage 1 will appear for stage 2 which will be conducted on May 10, 2020 by NCERT. Read the article to know the NTSE Punjab Result 2020 date and cut off.

Latest- NCERT has released NTSE Stage 2 Result 2019!

Punjab NTSE Exam will be conducted on November 3, 2019. The qualifying marks for stage 1 of NTSE 2020 Exam are 32% for SC, ST, PWD and 40% for General/OBC category candidates. National Talent Search Examination is conducted in two tiers: Stage 1 (State-Level) and Stage 2 (National-Level). Top 2000 students will receive scholarships to pursue their higher education.

How to check Punjab NTSE Result 2020?

The result will be uploaded on the official website as a pdf file. Students must follow the steps given below carefully to know NTSE Punjab result 2020:

  • Click on the link above or visit the official website i.e. www.ssapunjab.org

  • Click on SCERT circular and download the result file to check details.

  • Candidates can check their roll number in the list.

  • Selected candidates list will contain the details of the candidates who are selected for stage 2 exam.

What after NTSE Punjab Result 2020?

  • Candidates whose names and roll number will be listed in Punjab NTSE result 2020 will be eligible to appear for NTSE Stage II Exam.

  • NTSE 2020 Syllabus for stage I and stage II will be similar. Students can appear for stage 2 exam will be held on May 10, 2020.

  • NCERT will release NTSE 2020 admit card stage II in the month of April 2020.

  • Candidates who successfully qualify both levels of NTSE 2020 Exam will be awarded scholarship for higher studies.

Q: Is NTSE stage I and stage II cutoff same?

A: No, both are not same. Stage 1 cut off is completely different from stage 2 cut off. As stage one cutoff is released by SCERT Punjab and stage II cutoff is released by NCERT.
