  1. Practice Previous Years’ Papers

Students can appear for the exam more confidently by getting well-versed with the syllabus and NMMS exam pattern. They must solve the NMMS question papers to understand the pattern well over the years.

  1. Revision

Revise important concepts regularly, especially those you find challenging. Break down complex topics into manageable parts.

  1. Stay Updated

Keep an eye on the latest developments and announcements from the respective state education board or your school regarding the exam schedule, admit card, and any changes in guidelines. The NMMS admit card needs to be downloaded and carried on the exam day. Most states provide the NMMS hall ticket through the respective official websites. Students need to adhere to the instructions mentioned on the admit card to ensure a smooth examination process.

  1. Seek Help from Teachers

If you struggle with any topic, seek guidance from your teachers, peers, or online resources. They can provide personalised explanations, recommend helpful study materials, and offer insights that simplify complex concepts.

Don’ts for NMMS Exam Preparation

  1. Avoid Procrastination

Students who want to score well in the NMMS exam and clear the NMMS cut-off scores must not procrastinate to prepare for the exam. Delaying your preparation may lead to unnecessary stress. Start early and stick to the schedule.

  1. Do Not Ignore Weak Areas

Students must solve enough NMMS previous years’ question papers and sample papers to understand their strengths areas and weak areas. Identifying weak subjects or topics and addressing them promptly instead of avoiding them will be immensely helpful.

  1. Avoid Overloading

Do not try to learn everything in one go. Overloading your mind can lead to confusion and burnout. Make a study plan and stick to it consistently.

  1. Do Not Rely Solely on Guesswork

While attempting questions, avoid random guessing. Mark answers for the questions which you are sure about.

  1. Avoid Distractions

Stay away from distractions like excessive use of mobile phones or social media during study hours. Build a healthy lifestyle to ward of any laziness and prepare the mind to study with concentration.

Hello

You asked for the Bengali question paper of the NMMS examination. The NMMS exam is conducted by SCERT of each state including West Bengal for Class 8 students. The exam is held every year to provide scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections. The test generally has two parts. The first paper is called the Mental Ability Test or MAT. It contains reasoning, puzzle based, and analytical type questions. The second paper is the Scholastic Aptitude Test or SAT. This part includes questions from subjects like Science, Social Science, and Mathematics based on the Class 7 and 8 syllabus.

The Bengali question paper is given only to those students who choose Bengali as their medium of examination while filling the application form. In such cases, all the questions in MAT and SAT will be printed in Bengali. This helps students from West Bengal and Bengali medium schools to attempt the paper comfortably in their own language.
