Students can check their CBSE 10th compartment result in online mode by following the given steps:

  • First of all, students need to browse the official CBSE result portal:

  • Now, Click on the link that says 'Secondary School 2020 - Compartment Result' as shown below:

  • CBSE class 10 compartment result 2020 window will appear on the screen which will look like as shown below:

  • Candidates have to enter their roll number, date of birth, school number and centre number in the appropriate fields.

After the announcement of the CBSE Class 10 compartment result 2020, there will be two types of students:

Passed: Students who are declared as pass in CBSE class 10 compartment result will be able to download their original mark sheet from DigiLocker. CBSE also releases a separate mark-sheet for the re-appeared exam which can be collected from the respective schools. Passed students will be able to choose a stream for higher studies. Students should visit the National Scholarship Portal to check the available scholarships for class 10th students.

Unsatisfied or Failed: The students who failed in compartment exams will be able to appear in the upcoming annual 2021 exams. If a student thinks that he/she did not get marks as per his/her performance in the exam, then such student can apply for re-evaluation of their CBSE Class 10 compartment result 2020.

About CBSE 10th Compartment exam

In annual exams, if a student fails in one or two exams then he/she can apply for compartment exam. This exam is the second chance to pass the exam of a subject or two and save a year of academic study.


  • Students will be able to apply for this exam in the third week of May 2020.

  • Applications are accepted in online mode for private candidates whereas, for regular candidates, the application process is done through respective schools.

  • One student can apply by filling the application form and submitting the required documents.

  • Private students will have to pay Rs. 200 per subject as application fee in online mode.

Admit cards

CBSE 10th compartment admit cards are made available online for private students. Admit cards will be provided in the third week of June 2020. Students can access CBSE Admit card 2020 by entering their credentials in the admit card window.

You should carry forward your preparation of class 10th science exam in the following steps:-

1. Read a particular chapter through NCERT thoroughly.

2. Try solving the in-chapter exercises.

3. Memorize the formulae or equations orally.

4. Try writing those formulae and equations again and again.

5. Make notes of the chapter.

6. Try solving the end chapter exercises.

10 CBSE exam for class 10th will commence at 10:30 a.m.. the answer booklet will be distributed at 10:00 a.m.. question paper will be given at 10:15 and a 15 minute time will be provided to navigate the question paper once the clock ticks at 10:30 you will be allowed to write the answer.


I have studied commerce in class 11th CBSE but changed to PCB in 12th NIOS board. Will I be eligible for NEET or BPT?

Hello Antraa,

Yes, this is very good news for you because NIOS candidates are eligible for NEET.Eaely there was restrictions for NIOS candidates but from 2019 the SC(Supreme Court) has put a stay on order that stops NIOS candidates from appearing in NEET Exam.
So, you can apply fir NEET 2020.

But for BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) a candidate needs to have done HSE (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized university.He/She should have pursued science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects securing a minimum aggregate score of 50%(General) or equivalent CGPA whereas (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

The attendance criteria is strict and is followed in most cases in almost all the schools in the country. Since you have not completely specified your condition, I assume you are asking about Class 10 or 12 attendance regulations and in that case, CBSE and all other education boards have strict regulations, so you should not fiddle with them in ideal cases. However, if you have any medical or any other unavoidable circumstance, then you should contact higher authorities for help.

While reporting to the allotted college, candidates must submit the original copy of the required documents which can be are listed below-

  • NEET 2020 Admit Card

  • NEET Scorecard or Rank Letter

  • Class 10 certificate and mark sheet (for date of birth)

  • Class 12 certificate and mark sheet

  • ID proof (Aadhar/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport)

  • Eight passport size photographs

  • Provisional Allotment Letter

  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)

  • PwD Certificate (if applicable)
