The CBSE board will assist schools in conducting practical exams for the 10th Class in two or three sessions. The board decides, depending on the lab infrastructure available in the respective schools, and the number of students is more than 30. The CBSE schools can form batches or groups of 30 students to conduct the CBSE 10th practical exam 2026 for better exam management and uploading of marks. The CBSE practical exams should be conducted in sessions to ensure a fair assessment of the exams. Schools will conduct the internal assessments for CBSE class 10 regular students, depending on the subject curriculum.
The board will not appoint any external examiner for the CBSE 10th practical examination.
School authorities are responsible for making all practical exam arrangements, like supplying practical answer books to the students.
The CBSE board will upload the link to the practical marks of class 10 students. The examiners will award the CBSE Class 10 practical marks to students.
The board conducts the CBSE 10th board examination for 100 marks. The theory will be conducted for 80 marks, and a practical/internal assessment will be held for 20 marks, except for computer applications, where the practicals will be held for 70 marks.
