From 2026, the CBSE board is conducting the 10th Class exams in two phases. The Central Board of Secondary Education released the CBSE Class 10 date sheet 2026 for the final examination. The CBSE 10th phase 1 exam was conducted from February 17 to March 11, 2026. The CBSE phase 2 exams will be held from May 15 to June 1, 2026. The board released the CBSE 10th exam schedule in a PDF format. Students can download the CBSE date sheet 2026 class 10 online through the official website, cbse.gov.in, or from the link below.

The CBSE board conducted the practical exams for all CBSE-affiliated schools from January 1 to February 14, 2026. For winter-bound schools, the CBSE 10th practical exams were held earlier, from November 6 to December 6, 2025.
CBSE Class 10 Exams Cancelled in the Middle East Regions
The board issued a notice on March 5, 2026, stating that the CBSE 10th board exams were postponed in the Middle East and all examinations scheduled from March 7 to 11, 2026, stand cancelled. The exams scheduled for March 2, 5, and 6, which were postponed earlier, have also been cancelled. The mode of declaration of CBSE Class 10 results in the Middle East was notified by the board separately.
CBSE 10th Date Sheet 2026 for 1st & 2nd Term Exam
The CBSE board is conducting the Class 10 examination twice a year from 2026. Students must be careful while going through the CBSE date sheet for exam dates. The board conducted the term 1 exams from February 17 to March 11, 2026, and the second term exam will be held from May 15 to June 1, 2026.

CBSE 10th Final Exam Date 2026 Out Phase 1
Candidates are allowed to take CBSE Term 1 and Term 2 board examinations in up to two phases during the respective academic year. One exam would be considered the main examination, and the other would be for improvement, as per the students’ desire.

The Central Board released the CBSE practical exam schedule on October 16, 2025. The CBSE Class 10 practical exam 2026 was conducted from November 6 to December 6, 2025, for winter-bound schools. For all other CBSE-affiliated schools, the practical exams were conducted from January 1 to February 14, 2026. - The board examination are spread and conducted in India and 26 countries abroad.
- Around 26,60,000 students are expected to register for the new scheme.

- The CBSE 10th Term 1 and CBSE Term 2 exam schedules would be from February 17 to March 10, 2025, and May 15 to June 1, 2025, respectively.
- The board evaluated about 1,72,90,000 answer books in 2026.
- Answer script evaluations are expected to begin about 10 days after each subject's exam and be completed within 12 days. For example, if the Class 12 Physics exam is on February 20, 2026, the evaluation for that subject would likely start around March 3, 2026, and finish by March 15, 2026
