From 2026, the CBSE board is conducting the 10th Class exams in two phases. The Central Board of Secondary Education released the CBSE Class 10 date sheet 2026 for the final examination. The CBSE 10th phase 1 exam was conducted from February 17 to March 11, 2026. The CBSE phase 2 exams will be held from May 15 to June 1, 2026. The board released the CBSE 10th exam schedule in a PDF format. Students can download the CBSE date sheet 2026 class 10 online through the official website, cbse.gov.in, or from the link below.

The CBSE board conducted the practical exams for all CBSE-affiliated schools from January 1 to February 14, 2026. For winter-bound schools, the CBSE 10th practical exams were held earlier, from November 6 to December 6, 2025.
The board issued a notice on March 5, 2026, stating that the CBSE 10th board exams were postponed in the Middle East and all examinations scheduled from March 7 to 11, 2026, stand cancelled. The exams scheduled for March 2, 5, and 6, which were postponed earlier, have also been cancelled. The mode of declaration of CBSE Class 10 results in the Middle East was notified by the board separately.
The CBSE board is conducting the Class 10 examination twice a year from 2026. Students must be careful while going through the CBSE date sheet for exam dates. The board conducted the term 1 exams from February 17 to March 11, 2026, and the second term exam will be held from May 15 to June 1, 2026.

Students must note that the languages and electives, like Hindi, English, Social Science, Mathematics, and Science, will be conducted on a fixed day as mentioned in the exam schedule. The examination of regional and other languages will be held in a single day.
Candidates are allowed to take CBSE Term 1 and Term 2 board examinations in up to two phases during the respective academic year. One exam would be considered the main examination, and the other would be for improvement, as per the students’ desire.
