CBSE 10th Date Sheet 2026 for 1st & 2nd Term Exam

The CBSE board will conduct the Class 10 examination twice a year from 2026. Students must be careful while going through the CBSE date sheet for exam dates. The board will conduct the date sheet of Class 10 2026 CBSE Board first exam from February 17 to March 10, 2026, and the second exam will be held from May 15 to June 1, 2026.

Important Note:

Students must note that the languages and electives like Hindi, English, Social Science, Mathematics, and Science, will be conducted on a fixed day as mentioned in the exam schedule. The examination of regional and other languages will be held in a single day.

CBSE 10th Final Exam Date 2026 Out Phase 1

Candidates are allowed to take CBSE Term 1 and Term 2 board examinations in up to two phases during the respective academic year. One exam would be considered the main examination, and the other would be for improvement, as per the students’ desire.

CBSE Class 10 Practical Examination 2026

The Central Board released the CBSE practical exam schedule on October 16, 2025. The CBSE Class 10 practical exam 2026 was conducted from November 6 to December 6, 2025, for winter-bound schools. For all other CBSE-affiliated schools, the practical exams will be conducted from January 1, 2026. CBSE 10th Date Sheet 2026 Highlights

• The duration of CBSE Class 10 exams would be 36 days.
• The board examination will be spread and conducted in India and 26 countries abroad.
• Around 26,60,000 students are expected to register for the new scheme.
• The CBSE board will offer 84 subjects to students from 2026.
• The CBSE 10th Term 1 and CBSE Term 2 exam schedules would be from February 17 to March 10, 2025, and May 15 to June 1, 2025, respectively.
• The board is expected to evaluate about 1,72,90,000 answer books in 2026.
• Answer script evaluations are expected to begin about 10 days after each subject's exam and be completed within 12 days. For example, if the Class 12 Physics exam is on February 20, 2026, the evaluation for that subject would likely start around March 3, 2026, and finish by March 15, 2026
