NSEP Question Papers 2019- Typology of questions

  • Part A1: The questions will be of multiple-choice and will carry 3 marks per question. There will be a penalty of 1 mark for every wrong answer. This part will include questions from question no. 1 to 60. In this part, only one option out of the four will be correct.

  • Part A2: Questions in part A2 will be of multiple choice. These questions will have a weightage of 6 marks per question and there will be a total of 10 questions. There will be a penalty of 1 mark for every wrong answer. This part will include questions from question no. 61-70. All the four options will be correct in this part and the student will have to choose the correct answer according to the context.

NSEP Syllabus 2019

  • IPAT prescribes the syllabus of the NSEP exam. All the questions will be asked from the NSEP syllabus which is based on the NCERT syllabus.
  • The official syllabus of NSEP dictates that students broadly need to prepare topics from and up to senior secondary level (class 12th).
  • NSEP question paper 2019 is divided into two parts, A1 and A2, and will carry 240 marks in total for 70 questions.
