Month 2: Focus More on Revision, Practice, and Application.

Week 1-2: Focus on the revision of high-weightage chapters

  • Revise the short notes, NCERT Questions, and other reference materials that help cover all the basic points included in the repeated topics.

  • For subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Math, and Accountancy, focus on formulas, equations, and numerical problems. Write these down separately for quick access. And make sure to analyze the units, and derivatives on a regular basis.

  • Practice diagram-based questions carefully. Focus on labelling and markings (arrow in case of circuit diagrams and optics)

  • Try to memorize definitions, relations, and mnemonics with the help of examples.

Week 3: Practice with Previous Years’ Papers and CBSE Class 12 Model Paper Questions

  • Spend this week solving the CBSE Class 12 previous year question papers for each subject and the new CBSE Class 12 sample papers. Collections of such papers provide a good understanding of the structure of the exam, the kinds of questions that are asked or are likely to be asked, as well as the areas of study most often included in the tests.

  • When solving, it is recommended to do it in the same manner as during an exam. Try doing the paper with no breaks since this will help you train your mind to concentrate for longer hours.

  • Try to analyze the mistakes and focus on the points that need improvement.

  • In case of difficult problems, you should ask for help from your teacher, or friends or use Internet sources.

Week 4: Time Management and Mock Tests. This week is all about proving yourself

  • Writing section – take full-length mock tests in a particular time period: These tests will assist you in timing your efforts during the actual test appropriately.

  • Try also to balance your time with each of the sections. It is useful to determine the amount of time that should be spent on each section.

  • The feedback you get after completing a mock test should also be evaluated. Determine the areas where you were wrong or taking much time.

  • Always write answers neatly and to the point to avoid ruffling through papers when trying to check on long answers. Also understand that in such courses as Business Studies, Biology, and Accountancy, appearance does count.

If you stick to this week-by-week plan, you will be able to study effectively in order to cover the most essential topics. Thus, following this step-by-step approach makes you well-prepared, and informed about what to expect in the examination, and helps to score well in your CBSE Class 12 Board Examination.
