The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the tentative Class 10th date sheet 2026 on September 24, 2025. As per the National Education Policy 2020 recommendations, the CBSE Class 10 examination will be conducted twice a year. The Phase 1 CBSE 10th Board exam will be held from February 17 to March 9, 2026, and is considered the main examination. Whereas, the CBSE Phase 2 exams will be held from May 15 to June 1, 2026, as an improvement exam. The final CBSE 10th date sheet is expected to be released in November 2025.

Class 10 CBSE Date Sheet 2026 for Practical Exams
The CBSE practical exams for winter-bound schools will be conducted in November-December 2025, for winter-bound schools, while the practical exams for all other CBSE-affiliated schools will be held in January-February 2026. Last year, the CBSE 10th practical exams commenced on November 5 and concluded on December 5, 2024. Whereas, practical exams for all other CBSE-affiliated schools were held from January 1 to February 14, 2025, by the respective schools.
