How to Calculate Score with NTSE West Bengal Answer Key 2020-21?
Students can calculate a probable score for their NTSE West Bengal exam using the answers mentioned in the NTSE West Bengal official answer key. The formula for the same is given below:
Total Score = (Total No. of correct answers in MAT x 1) + (Total No. of correct answers in SAT x 1)
For every right answer candidate will score 1 mark.
There is no negative marking for any wrong or unattempted answers.
Candidates must calculate the SAT and MAT scores separately and match it with the category wise score individually.
NTSE West Bengal 2020-21 Answer Key - Important Points

Separate admit card for the same will be released in April 2020-21 as the exam is scheduled to be held on May 10, 2021. The answer keys for NTSE Stage II will be released by NCERT one or two weeks after the exam. The exam conducting authority will announce the NTSE stage 2 result in the month of September 2021.

National talent search examination (NTSE) is one of the oldest and most prestigious scholarship exams in India. It is a national level scholarship program at the secondary school level identify and recognise students with high intellect academy talent. It is conducted by National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) every year. It is conducted every year at Two levels - Stage-I (State Level), conducted by the States/Union Territories and Stage-II (National Level), conducted by NCERT.
Eligibility criteria for Stage 1
- Students studying in class 10 can appear in test.
- They are required to have obtained 60% marks in their Class IX.
- The SC, ST and PH students have 5% relaxation. They nees to obtain 55% marks in class 9.
- They should be studying in a recognised achool in their respective States.
Eligibility criteria for Stage 2
- Students, securing 80% marks or above in the State level exam, are eligible for the Stage-II .
All students who secure the minimum required marks at Stage-II, are eligible for the scholarship program.
- Scholarship of Rs.1250 per month for class XI and XII.
- Scholarship of Rs.2000 per month for Undergraduate & Post Graduate.
- Scholarship for Ph.D. is provided in accordance with the UGC Norms.
Reservation in NTSE
- 15% Scholarship is reserved for students belonging to the SC Category.
- 7.5% Scholarships is for students belonging to the ST Category.
- 4% for Physically Challenged students.
