NTSE West Bengal question papers consist of two sections- MAT and SAT.
Each section has 100 MCQs of 100 marks. Hence, the question papers will be of total 200 marks.
Every right answer is awarded 1 mark.
There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

There will be two sections in NTSE West Bengal Question Papers, MAT & SAT. However, the previous year's papers also had a Language section that was removed in 2019.
MAT (Mental Ability Test)- As per the NTSE 2024 Syllabus, the MAT section consists of questions from analogies, classification, coding-decoding, pattern analysis, problem-solving, series, hidden figures, etc. This section aims to test a candidate's ability to think, the ability to view and analyze, the ability to evaluate and reasoning skills.
SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)- The objective of this section is to test the student’s general awareness, reading abilities and interpretation skills relating to different subjects.
SCERT West Bengal has published the WB NTSE answer key. The NTSE West Bengal question papers 2024 are to be published on the official website very soon. Students can download it to compare their answers with those listed in the answer key. This way students can calculate their expected scores.
The exam conducting authority will release the NTSE West Bengal result 2024, in the pdf file. The result list contains the names and roll numbers of those students who qualified for the NTSE Stage II.
Along with the result, the Council will also release the NTSE West Bengal cut off 2024. Students can calculate their probable score using the answer key and compare it with the last year’s cutoff score to know if they have chances for qualifying NTSE stage 1.

There is no official confirmation yet about NTSE for 2025-26 . NCERT has not announced any schedule or notification for this session.
Students should wait for an official update from NCERT.

As of now, the NTSE 2025-26 registration date have not been officially announced.Usually the registration process begins in August or September through your state's SCERT or the liaison officer in each state.The stage one exam is generally held in December and stage two in june of the following year.
To get the exact dates and updates, regularly check the official NCERT or your state's SCERT website .

Most likely NTSE Stage 1 registration forms would release in August or sept. You must keep eye on UP's SCERT website and stay tuned to NCERT and national exam portals, as they will publish official dates and links once available.
