NTSE West Bengal question papers - The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), West Bengal has released the WB NTSE question papers of previous years on the official website. Candidates preparing for NTSE WB 2020 to be held on November 3, 2019 must solve, practice and analyse the NTSE West Bengal question papers for better preparation of the exam. With the help of these West Bengal NTSE question papers, candidates would also get familiar with the NTSE exam pattern, marking scheme, the time allotted, types of questions doing round in the exam every year etc. The link to download the official WB NTSE question papers is provided below. WB NTSE Question Papers - Points to remember

  1. Candidates must take a printout of the NTSE West Bengal question papers before they sit to answer them. This makes it easy to work on them.

  2. Start with one question paper at a time.

  3. The West Bengal NTSE question papers should be answered within the stipulated time. This way students learn time management and can make out which questions to answer first.

  4. Once the question paper is done, check your answers.

  5. Analyse the performance and then revise, rectify the mistakes.

NTSE West Bengal Exam Pattern 2020

NTSE 2020 examination includes 2 stages. The stage 1 is expected to be conducted at the state level by SCERT and stage 2 is conducted at national level by NCERT. NTSE WB 2020 will be conducted on November 3, 2019.NTSE Stage 1 question paper comprises of two sections- MAT and SAT. It can be attempted either in English or Bengali language. Every right answer is awarded 1 mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. 240 minutes is the total time allotted for stage 1 exam.

MAT (Mental Ability Test)- Questions are put up from analogies, classification, coding-decoding, pattern analysis, problem-solving, series, hidden figures etc. This section aims to test a candidates ability to think, ability to view and analyze, ability to evaluate and reasoning skills.

SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)- The objective of this section is to test the candidate’s general awareness, reading abilities and interpretation skills relating to different subjects.

NTSE West Bengal Answer Key 2020

SCERT West Bengal publishes the WB NTSE answer key 7-10 days after the conduct of exam. The answer key will be published on the official website and candidates can download it to compare their answers with those listed in the answer key. Answer key of NTSE West Bengal contains the correct answers to all the questions in MAT & SAT papers. NTSE West Bengal answer key helps candidates arrive at a probable score of NTSE 2020 stage 1.

NTSE Result 2020

The result of NTSE WB 2020 will be released by SCERT West Bengal in the second week of April, 2020 on the official website. The result will be released in the form of merit list which will contain the names and roll numbers of those candidates who qualify stage 1 of NTSE.

NTSE Cutoff 2020

Along with the NTSE result, the Council will also release the cutoff of NTSE WB. Candidates can calculate their probable score using NTSE West Bengal answer key 2020 and compare it with the last year’s cutoff score to know if they have chances for qualifying NTSE stage 1.
