The national level exam National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a scholarship programme conducted by NCERT. Students studying in class X are eligible for NTSE 2016 examination and selection procedure. Candidates who qualify in Stage I of NTSE will be eligible for NTSE Stage II, has been conducted on May 8, 2016.

The scholarship exam was held on November 7 and 8, 2015 in all States and Union Territories of India. The result will be declared by all the respective state governments. NTSE 2016 Stage I comprised of two sections including Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude test (SAT). Scholastic Aptitude Test shall also have questions of Language Comprehension.

You have not mentioned your category nevertheless the cut off is as follows for each category not NTSE Kerala stage 1 (2019)

General category - 143

OBC - 119

SC- 101.

As you have scored above cut off marks you have good chances of being eligible for stage 2.

According to our experts the cutoff for NTSE stage 2 for andhra pradesh students for general category will be around 164.
