According to the NTSE Exam Pattern 2024, the exam consists of two sections- Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Ability Test (SAT).
Each section contains 100 questions worth 1 mark each.
There is no negative marking in NTSE Meghalaya 2024.

The result of NTSE Meghalaya 2024 will be released in February 2025. Meghalaya NTSE result will be announced in online mode. Approximately, 25 students will be selected from the Meghalaya state to participate in the NTSE stage 2 exam 2024.
DERT sets the qualifying score for NTSE Meghalaya. To qualify for NTSE stage 2, students need to obtain the NTSE qualifying score in each section. If the students fail to obtain the qualifying score in any of the 2 sections, they will be unable to participate in NTSE stage 2.

Students who qualify the NTSE Meghalaya 2024 Stage 1 exam with minimum cutoff marks will be eligible to appear for the NTSE Stage 2 exam 2024. NCERT will conduct the NTSE stage II exam in May 2025. The council will declare the NTSE result 2024 in August 2025. Students have to qualify for both stage 1 and stage 2 to get the scholarship amount.
Students can check the previous year’s NTSE cutoff to get an estimate of the minimum scores required to qualify the exam. Using the NTSE Meghalaya answer key 2024, students will be able to know their probable scores. NCERT will release the stage 2 cutoff scores after the result announcement.

There is no official confirmation yet about NTSE for 2025-26 . NCERT has not announced any schedule or notification for this session.

As of now, the NTSE 2025-26 registration date have not been officially announced.Usually the registration process begins in August or September through your state's SCERT or the liaison officer in each state.The stage one exam is generally held in December and stage two in june of the following year.
