NIOS Registration 2019 - National Institute of Open Schooling has released the NIOS registration form for class 10 and 12 (Stream 1, Block - II) along with Stream 2, Stream 3 and Stream 4 in both online and offline mode. The last date to fill the admission form of NIOS 2019 along with the late fee of Rs. 700 is March 15, 2019. Students could fill NIOS admission form from September 16, 2018 to January 31, 2019 without late fee. Those planning to take admission to secondary and senior secondary courses must check the eligibility criteria before registering themselves to classes 10 and 12 in NIOS.
In order to fill the form, students have to enter their personal, communication and educational details after NIOS registration 2019. They can review the information filled by them before proceeding to download the form. NIOS online admission is conducted every year in two blocks- Block 1 and 2. The NIOS online admission for classes 10 and 12 is available for Stream I Block II. Description about the streams have been given below.
Stream 1 - This stream for NIOS 2019 registration is open for all the learners-secondary and senior secondary courses.
Stream 2 - This stream for online admission is open for candidates who had appeared for the exam, but could not pass the exam.
Stream 3 - This stream is open for NIOS registration for class 10th. Those who have passed the secondary exam, but wish to appear for one subject or up to 4 subjects for enhancing their score can apply for stream 4 through on demand examination system.
Stream 4 - This stream is open for NIOS registration for class 12th. Those who have passed the senior secondary exam, but wish to appear for one subject or up to 4 subjects for enhancing their score can apply for stream 4 through on demand examination system.

NIOS registration eligibility criteria for 10 class
Candidates must be 14 years of age as on July 31, 2019.
Candidate who has passed class 8 and has valid proof of age from competent authority/Municipal Body clearly mentioning the age is eligible to apply.
Student can also take admission in class 10 if he/she gives self-attested certificate that " he/she has studied enough to be able to pursue secondary course".
One who has studied in secondary school can also apply in this category for improving the score or to complete the course.
NIOS registration eligibility criteria for 12 class
Applicant must be 15 years of age as on July 31, 2019.
Students must have passed the secondary exam.
Student who has studied in senior secondary school could also apply in this category for improving the score or to complete the course.
Stream III and Stream IV are streams of exams for improving the marks earlier scored or to pass in any subject in secondary and senior secondary school exams. Stream III and Stream IV are for on-demand examination which is held throughout the year as per the prefixed NIOS schedule. Admission in Stream III and Stream IV exam is given depending on the availability of seats for any specific lot/schedule as announced by NIOS from time to time. Students have to check whether seats are available and have to apply accordingly. Students who want to apply for Stream III and Stream IV must have passed secondary school or senior school examination from any recognized state board. Students can apply for admission in this stream from 1 subject to a maximum of 4 subjects. They are required to upload the previous exam marksheet for appearing in the exam for any individual subject or for improving the score in any subject while applying online.
Candidates have to send the scanned copy/soft copy (jpg, jpeg files) of the following documents, which will be required to be uploaded while filling NIOS admission form 2019.

Candidates can fill the admission form for NIOS 2019 both in the online or offline modes. Students who are filling NIOS application form in the offline mode must send their completely filled admission form along with required documents to the specified address. The step by step process to fill the online application form has been given below:
Step 1: Candidates have to click on the link below. After clicking on the link, students have to select state/UT, identity type, and the course (secondary or senior secondary) and click the submit button.
Step 2: Now, you have to enter your Aadhar number, name and click on the submit button. After this, you will be redirected to a new page wherein you have to enter your basic details, such as your name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, Aadhar number, mobile number and email ID. Click on generate OTP button and enter your mobile number and email ID and submit. You will receive two OTPs-mobile OTP and Email ID OTP, which you have to submit.
Step 3: Now students have to fill their addresses other information and upload the documents, such as social class proof, birth certificate, correspondence address proof, photo, signature and previous qualification certificate.
Step 4: After filling all the details, candidates have to click on the next button for payment. Applicants can make the payment through credit card debit card or net banking. After paying the NIOS online admission form fee in online mode, candidates have to submit the form online only.
