The Single Girl Child Scholarship CBSE 2025 aims to support female students who are the only child in their family. This CBSE scholarship for Class 11 and 12 provides financial assistance to help cover educational expenses for students pursuing their studies in Class 11 or 12.

Scholarship Amount: INR 500 per month for up to two years
The student must be the only child of parents.

The CBSE Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships supports meritorious students who are pursuing higher education. This scholarship is aimed at helping students manage their expenses during their college or university studies.
Application Period: September 13 to January 19, 2025
Scholarship Amount: INR 12,000 per annum for the first three years, increasing to INR 20,000 per annum for the fourth and fifth years.
Annual family income should not exceed INR 4.5 lakhs.
Candidate must have scored above 80% in Class 12 exams.
The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 25 years.
The candidate should not already be receiving another scholarship.
Apply through the National Scholarship Portal: scholarships.gov.in.
Fill out the application form and get it verified by your institute.

The CBSE Board’s Merit Scholarship recognises outstanding academic performance in CBSE Class 10 and CBSE 12th exams. The CBSE BM scholarship is awarded to students who achieve high marks in their exams. Here are the key details of the CBSE Board’s Merit Scholarship for 2025:
The CBSE merit scholarship scheme is for Single Girl Students who have passed the CBSE Class 10 exam with 60% or more marks. Below, we have provided a general application procedure for the students to follow:
Visit the official website of CBSE, cbse.gov.in.
Download the Single Girl Child Scholarship application form.
Fill out the form carefully and attest the signature and stamp of the principal.
Attach the required documents such as the marksheet of Class 11, a copy of the aadhaar number and a copy of the bank passbook.
After that send the CBSE Merit Scholarship for Single Child to the "assistant secretary, CBSE, Shiksha Kendra, 2 Community Centre, Preet Vihar, Delhi, 110092."
The last date to apply for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship is January 19, 2025.
Students can apply for the CBSE CSS scholarship through the National Scholarship Portal at scholarships.gov.in from September 13 to January 19, 2025.
The documents required for the CBSE CSS Scholarship include - CBSE Class 12 mark sheet, bank passbook with your photograph, Aadhaar card or another valid ID (such as a voter ID, PAN card, or passport), income certificate, disability or caste certificate (if applicable).
Each year, a total of 50 scholarships are awarded for both Class 10 and 12 students. These scholarships are divided between SC and ST category students (33 for SC and 17 for ST for both classes).

Yes, you can apply for 12th grade as a private candidate .You will need to follow the registration process and fulfill the eligibility criteria set by CBSE for private candidates.If you haven't given the 11th grade exam ,you would be able to appear for the 12th exam directly without having passed 11th grade. you will need to give certain tests in the school you are getting addmission to prove your eligibilty.

According to cbse norms candidates who have completed class 10th, class 11th, have a gap year or have failed class 12th can appear for admission in 12th class.for admission in cbse board you need to clear your 11th class first and you must have studied from CBSE board or any other recognized and equivalent board/school.
You are not eligible for cbse board but you can still do 12th from nios which allow candidates to take admission in 12th class as a private student without completing 11th.
