CBSE Central Sector Scholarship 2025-26

• Application Period: June 2 to October 31, 2025

• Annual family income should not exceed INR 4.5 lakhs.

CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2025-26

The Single Girl Child Scholarship 2025 aims to support female students who are the only child in their family. This CBSE scholarship for Class 11 and 12 provides financial assistance to help cover educational expenses for students pursuing their studies in Class 11 or 12.

Key Details of the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship

The Central Board of Secondary Education has opened online applications for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2025. This scholarship is aimed at supporting meritorious single girl child students who have passed Class 10 in 2025 and are now studying in Class 11 in CBSE-affiliated schools. Eligible candidates can also apply for renewal of the 2024 scholarship. Students must submit their applications by the last date, November 20, 2025, through the official CBSE website.

• Scholarship Amount: INR 500 per month for up to two years

Eligibility for CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship:

• The student must be the only child of their parents.

• Students must be currently studying in Class 11 or 12 at a CBSE-affiliated school.

• Tuition fees should not exceed INR 1,500 per month for Indian students and INR 6,000 per month for NRI students.

CBSE Board’s Merit Scholarship 2025-26

The CBSE Board’s Merit Scholarship recognises outstanding academic performance in CBSE Class 10 and CBSE 12th exams. The CBSE BM scholarship is awarded to students who achieve high marks in their exams. The last date to fill out the CBSE Merit scholarship form for single girl child class 10th is December 2, 2025. Here are the key details of the CBSE Board’s Merit Scholarship for 2025:

• Eligibility Criteria: To qualify, students must have passed their Class 10 or Class 12 examination from a CBSE-affiliated school with a minimum of 85% marks.
• Scholarship Amount: The scholarship amount has been increased to Rs. 12,000 per annum for both Class 10 and Class 12 students.
• Number of Scholarships: For Class 10, a total of 50 scholarships are available, with 33 reserved for SC students and 17 for ST students. For Class 12th, 50 scholarships are available, divided into 33 for SC and 17 for ST students.

Application Process for the CBSE Merit Scholarship 2025:

The CBSE merit scholarship scheme is for Single Girl Students who have passed the CBSE Class 10 exam with 60% or more marks. Below, we have provided a general application procedure for the students to follow:
