About NBSE HSSLC 2025

NBSE HSSLC board exams are conducted every year by the Nagaland Board of School Education. Approximately 15,000 students register to appear in the HSSLC examination for all three streams – Arts, Commerce, and Science. The exam is conducted at more than 50 centres across Nagaland.

More About NBSE HSSLC Exams 2025:

  • Students should go through the complete NBSE HSSLC syllabus 2025 and prepare sincerely for the upcoming board examination.
  • Students are advised to solve the NBSE HSSLC question papers and know the exam pattern and the important topics asked in the exams. This will let them know the difficulty level of the NBSE HSSLC exams 2025.
  • The board will release the NBSE HSSLC admit cards 2025 in February 2025. Students can collect the same through their respective schools.
  • The NBSE HSSLC exams 2025 will be held tentatively in February 2025. Students can refer to the NBSE HSSLC routine 2025 to know the subject-wise exam dates and timing and prepare for the exams accordingly.

  • The duration of the NBSE HSSLC exams is 3 hours per paper.

  • NBSE HSSLC result 2025 for the annual examination will be declared in April 2025.

  • Students will be able to check their Nagaland HSSLC result 2025 through the official website, nbsenl.edu.in using their roll number. The facility of accessing the result via SMS is also be provided by the board. 
  • The online NBSE HSSLC result 2025 is provisional and contains details such as the candidate’s name, subject-wise marks, roll number, qualifying status, grades and so on.
  • Students will be able to collect their original mark sheets in person from their respective schools after the result is declared online.
  • Students will be able to apply for the verification in case of any discrepancy in the NBSE class 12 result 2025. The request for verification/revaluation is to be done within the prescribed time along with the payment of the requisite fee.
  • The board will conduct the NBSE HSSLC compartment exams 2025 in June 2025.
  • The NBSE HSSLC compartment exam result 2025 is likely to be announced in July 2025.

Students appearing for the NBSE HSSLC exams 2025 must meet certain eligibility criteria determined by the exam conducting authority. 

The following are the eligibility criteria for students appearing in NBSE HSSLC exams 2025.

  • Students must have passed their 11th standard.
  • The institution in which the students have studied must be affiliated with NBSE.
  • Students must have 80% attendance in class 12th.
  • There must not be any dues.
  • Only those students can appear in the NBSE class 12th exams 2025 whose applications are accepted by the exam conducting authority and who receive their respective admit card.

In the NBSE HSSLC exams 2025, students will appear for six external subjects, including one additional subject and three subjects that are internally assessed.

  • For all the streams, English is a compulsory subject. 
  • Accountancy, Economics, and Business studies are compulsory for the commerce stream while Chemistry and Physics are compulsory subjects for the students of science stream. 
  • Subjects which does not have practical exams will be held for 100 marks whereas all the subjects with practical papers will include theory for 70 marks and practicals of 30 marks. 
  • Papers that have internal/project work will consist of the internals of 10 marks and theory of 90 marks.
