Hello

Yes, if you’re not satisfied with your marks even after the improvement exam, many education boards allow you to reappear as a private candidate next year to improve your scores. This means you can register independently, study at your own pace, and take the exams without attending regular classes. It’s a good option to improve your results and open up more opportunities for higher studies or careers. Just make sure to check the specific rules and deadlines of your education board so you don’t miss the registration window. Keep your focus, and you will do better next time.

Hello buddy,Yes the  syllabus of comedk 2018 is completely based on class 12th syllabus that is Syllabus from NCERT books & most of the questions are asked straight forward from NCERT books. You only need to read and practice NCERT books.

Hello and welcome!

Great question about the KCET rank calculation for CBSE students. Let me break down the process for you clearly.

The KCET ranking for CBSE students follows these key steps:

1. Entrance Test Marks:

- Your KCET exam performance in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology is considered

- Each subject carries equal weightage

2. Board Marks Normalization:

- 50% weightage from your CBSE 12th marks in PCM/PCB subjects

- These marks are normalized to ensure fairness between different boards

- A standardization formula is applied to account for scoring variations between state and central boards

3. Final Score Calculation:

- 50% from normalized 12th board marks

- 50% from KCET entrance test scores

- These are combined to generate your final rank

The normalization process is particularly important as it ensures CBSE students compete fairly with state board students. The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) uses a statistical method to maintain this balance.

For the most current and detailed information about the ranking process, including any recent changes or updates, I'd encourage you to visit our website or the official KEA portal.

Would you like me to explain any specific part of this process in more detail? Or do you have questions about how to optimize your preparation based on this ranking system?

Hello Candidate,

There is no need to read such a MCQ book for CBSE 12TH English. As we know there are 2 books for English for 12th i.e. Flamingo and Vistas . Now let me tell you that, just reading only the chapters from these books is enough to score good in the literature part.

Just read the chapters thoroughlly, and you can get good marks in the exam. And solve some previous year question papers for better results.

Hope it helps.

Hello from Careers360,

Thank you for your inquiry about taking 7 subjects in CBSE Class 12th.

Generally, CBSE allows students to take up to 6 subjects in Class 12th - typically 5 main subjects and 1 additional subject. However, taking 7 subjects is not a common practice and may not be offered by all schools.

If you're considering this option, here are a few points to keep in mind:

1. It's crucial to check with your school administration first. They can provide the most accurate information about whether this option is available.

2. Taking 7 subjects would significantly increase your workload. Consider if you can manage the extra study time required.

3. Some universities or colleges may only consider the best 5 subjects for admission purposes, so the benefit of an additional subject may be limited.

Before making a decision, it would be helpful to understand your reasons for wanting to take an extra subject. Are you looking to explore a particular interest, or do you have specific career goals in mind?

If you'd like to discuss this further or need any additional information, please don't hesitate to ask. We're here to help you make an informed decision about your academic path.

Hello dear student,

If the word that is NIOS board have provided you with some specific or different books than CBSE books of 11th and 12th then according to my opinion we should go for those books and by them the syllabus don't be much different as NIOS is also a recognised board and equivalent board to CBSE. Sudesh no need to worry about it. While to appear in the exams of NIOS that is board exams you should buy NIOS books when we can prepare for neet considering NCERT books for CBSE books. Books for NIOSand CBSE are same then there is no problem.

Best wishes

Hello,

The key to performing well in the exams, apart from, studying hard, grasping everything and retaining everything, is being able to study smart and in a proper manner.

  • Follow a proper schedule - Sleep early, get up early in the morning, have a proper breakfast and then study. Relax and study don't do different things at once.
  • Don’t have too much on your plate- Make realistic targets for a day. Even Rome was not built in a day. Do not overdo things.
  • Do not try and study everything in a single day. Try taking it slow and apportion your revision accordingly.
  • Read and study each chapter in your text book very thoroughly.
  • Practice all the numericals and extra questions after each chapter in your text book. Many times , the same questions have been asked in the exam.
  • Do not overload yourself with too many guide books
  • Study using paper and pen method rather than using any digital means.
  • For example, if you are good at science but weak in maths then your time table must include maths as your first priority.
  • science has indicated that learning is most effective between 10 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 10 pm, when the brain is in an acquisition mode.

All the best!!

Yes, students can change their board after finishing Class 11. Many educational boards allow students to transfer over to a different board. However, you have to be reasonable and verify precise policies and procedures for changing boards. Make sure to research state board schools, their admission procedure etc.
