The CBSE Class 12th board exam date sheet 2024 was revised on January 4, 2024. The board conducted the Fashion Studies exam on March 21, 2024, instead of March 11, 2024. Earlier, the Class 12th time table had been released by CBSE for both theory and practical exams on December 12, 2023. As per the CBSE 12th date sheet for 2024, the exams commenced on February 15, 2024, and concluded on April 2, 2024. The CBSE 12th date sheet 2024 PDF can be downloaded at - cbse.gov.in. CBSE 12th Board Exam 2024 Marking Scheme

The CBSE 12th board exam 2024 marking scheme has been made available for theory and practical subjects. According to the CBSE Class 12 marking scheme, the maximum mark for most of the subjects under the CBSE 12th class examination marking scheme is 100. The marks are divided into theory, practical, and project components along with internal assessment components.

For class 12, the minimum practical marks for Geography, psychology, physics, chemistry, biology, biotechnology, physical education, etc. are 30. The minimum practical marks for subjects like painting, graphics, sculpture, commercial art, dance, home science, etc. are 50. Will the Exams be conducted twice a Year?

The Ministry of Education (MoE) announced that Class 12 board exams will be held twice a year. The CBSE exams two times a year are expected to be conducted from 2025-26. The State and the National Boards will hold Class 12 board exams bi-annually. Students will have the option to retain their best scores. Apart from this, the MoE also announced some significant changes to the educational system. In accordance with NEP 2020, the curriculum according to the new curriculum framework (NCFR) has been finalised and the textbooks for 2024 will be finalised soon.
