NTSE Stage 2 Result 2019 – National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) will declare the NTSE 2019 stage 2 result online in the the last week of August, 2019. To check their result of NTSE stage 2 2019, candidates have to login using their roll number and date of birth. This result is provisional and the final NTSE 2019 result stage 2 will be released in the second week of September. The OMR response sheets of candidates will also be available for checking and candidates can apply for any corrections or discrepancies during the specified period. After the final NTSE 2019 result is announced, NCERT will also release the list of selected students for the scholarships category wise. NTSE cut off 2019 for stage 2 will also be released along with the NTSE stage 2 result 2019. How to check NTSE Stage 2 Result 2019?

Candidates can check NTSE 2019 Stage 2 result using the steps explained below.

Step 1: Students have to click on the link ‘NTSE stage 2 result’. (Link will be updated as soon as NCERT announces it)

Step 2: They have to submit their roll numbers, Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY) and security code in the login window for the provisional result while a pdf will be directly downloaded in case of the final result.

Step 3: Candidates can look for their names in the merit list. Download and save a copy of the same for future reference.


Candidates must note that this is the provisional result. Since the OMR sheets of the candidates will also be available, candidates are advised to check their answers with the official answer key and then check the scores they have obtained in the result of NTSE stage 2. In case of any discrepancies or incorrect information, they must write to NCERT with proof giving their details and ask for correction. The final NTSE 2019 stage 2 result will be announced after consideration of all such requests from candidates. The final result will form the basis for the award of scholarships.

NTSE stage 2 exam is conducted for total 200 marks, 100 each for MAT and SAT paper. The candidates belonging to general category need to secure 40% while SC, ST and PWD candidates require 32% for SAT and MAT papers. There will not be any negative marking for any incorrect answers. Candidates qualifying separately in both the papers are considered for selection for the scholarship which is made on the basis of total marks scored in MAT and SAT.

NTSE Stage 2 Cutoff 2019

The cutoff of NTSE stage 2 will also be released along with the final NTSE Stage 2 Result 2019 in the second week of September, 2019. NTSE cutoff of stage 2 cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates must score in order to qualify the exam and become eligible for the scholarship. NCERT will release the category wise cutoff scores. Students who score  the cutoff marks mentioned with the NTSE Stage 2019 result will have higher chances of selection for the scholarships.
