NTSE Rajasthan 2018 - 19: SCERT Rajasthan has released the NTSE Rajasthan 2019 result and cutoff on February 14, 2019, in the online mode. The first stage of NTSE Rajasthan was conducted by Board Of Secondary Education, Rajasthan on November 4, 2018. The NTSE 2019 admit card was handed over to students by their school authorities after October 22, 2018. The application process for NTSE Rajasthan 2019 began from August 27. The last date to submit the completely filled application form of NTSE Rajasthan was September 14 without late fees and September 24 with late fees. The last date to deposit the application fee through challan in bank was September 18 without late fee and September 28 with late fees. NTSE tests students ability in two areas- Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).

After the first stage, selected students would compete in the NTSE stage 2 which is scheduled to be conducted on May 12, 2019. NTSE Rajasthan Result 2019

The result of first stage of NTSE 2019 from Rajasthan has released on February 14, 2019 along with category wise cutoff for NTSE Rajasthan. The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan has published the list containing the name of successful candidates on their official website. Students who appear for NTSE Rajasthan will have to check the result by searching their names on the list. Last year, 236 students were shortlisted after the first round to compete in the NTSE stage 2. The NTSE stage 2 result would be published in the second week of September, 2019. The cut-off of NTSE Rajasthan for 2018-19 academic year would be published on the official website of Secondary Board of Education along with the result.

NTSE Rajasthan Eligibility Criteria 2019

 All students studying in Class X who secured 55% marks in their Class IX exam in the subjects of English, Hindi, Science, Social Science and Sanskrit or third language were considered eligible to compete in the examination. Only regular students could participate in Rajasthan NTSE. For reserved category students, 50% marks are required to appear in this exam.

NTSE Rajasthan Application Form 2019

 Application forms for NTSE Rajasthan 2019 had to be downloaded from the official website of the Rajasthan Board. All information given in the form had to be matched with the data recorded in the school registry. After the completion of application form, candidates were advised to take a printout. Any correction had to be done before the data lock. After the data lock, no further correction were permitted. The application fee had to be deposited with the print out of online challan.
General Category students had to pay Rs.200 without the late fee and Rs.250 with the late fees. SC/ST category students had to pay Rs.140 without the late fees and 180 with the late fees.

NTSE Rajasthan Admit Card 2019

 Admit Card for NTSE Rajasthan, 2018-19 were issued to candidates by SCERT. Admit card were available in offline mode and candidates could collect the same from their school after October 22, 2018. Without the Admit card or Hall ticket, student were not allowed entry into the examination hall.

Mathematics: Algebra expressions, arithmetic, Arithmetic progression, basic geometry, circles, coordinated geometry, direct and inverse variation s, exponent, linear equation, number system, probability, quadratic equation, simple and compound interest, square root and cube root, triangle and trigonometry, statistics, surface area and volume.

Science: Acid, bases and salts, air, carbon and its compounds, cellular level of organisms, fibers and plastics, food production and management, light, magnetism and electricity, evolution, measurement, metals and non-metals, environment, measurement, periodic classification of elements, physical and chemical changes in the matter, source of energy, structure of an atom, water.

For Social Sciences:

History: Culture, science and literature, early medieval periods, Indus valley civilization, Introduction of ancient Indian History, Jainism, Buddhism, and conquerors of other country and nations, medieval architecture and culture, national movement, new empires and kingdoms , popular movements and social reforms, revolt of 1857, The Mauryas, Mughal Empire, Vedic period.

NTSE Rajasthan Questions Papers

Going through the previous years papers is an effective way to get an idea about the question patterns for the first round of NTSE. MAT and SAT carry equal significance in the exam.
