NIOS 12th Result 2019 - National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) will declare the NIOS 12th result for April exam in the first week of June 2019. Candidates appearing for 12th board exam can check the NIOS result 2019 in online mode by entering their enrollment number in the result login window. The link for the same will be provided below after the official announcement. NIOS 12th result 2019 which will be declared online is provisional. Original marksheet will be sent to the registered address of the students by NIOS or could be obtained from the accredited institutes (AIs). The exams for NIOS 12th will be conducted in April 2019. NIOS also provides the facility for re-evaluation and rechecking post the declaration of NIOS result 2019 class 12. A candidate must apply online within 30 days for verification of result while for rechecking the application must be submitted within 15 days post the declaration of the NIOS result.

How to check NIOS 12th result 2019?

The result for NIOS senior secondary of April exam will be announced in the first week of June 2019. Candidates must check the result online following the steps given below:.

Step 1: Click on the link NIOS Result 2019 class 12 (to be provided only after officially released).

Step 2: Candidates will be redirected to the new page showing result login window. A screen-shot of the login window has been provided below:


Step 3: Enter candidates 12 digit enrollment number and click on the ‘submit’ button. 

Step 4: The NIOS 12th result 2019 will be displayed on the screen. 

Step 5: Download and take a printout of the provisional result. Retain it until the original mark sheet is collected.

1) How to check NIOS Result 2019 for the April exam?

Ans- Students can check the open school result 2019 from the NIOS website by the link provided above on this page. They can also check the result in offline mode from the AIs. The result declared in online mode is provisional and a student will get the original mark sheet along with the other documents at their registered address.


2) If a student fails in one or two subjects, do they need to give exam for all the subjects again?

Ans- No, the student need not appear for all the subjects again, they will only appear for the subjects which are yet to be cleared (SYC).


3) If a student has not scored well in any of the subjects, can they apply for improvement in that subject?

Ans- Yes, a student can apply for improvement once for the public examination while as many numbers of times as one want for on-demand examination during their registration validity.


4) How can a student apply for correction in the NIOS 12th result 2019?

Ans- A student if not satisfied with their marks or finds any discrepancy in the NIOS result, they might apply for correction within 30 days post declaration of the result to the Regional Director of their region. The application form for the same is available on the NIOS website under the section for student information.


5) Can a student apply for re-checking or re-evaluation of answer sheets?

Ans- NIOS only provides the facility of re-checking to students in which only re-totalling of the left out part is done. While re-evaluation facility is not available at the secondary level. For re-checking a student must apply within 15 days post the declaration of the result. The application form is to be submitted along with the fee of Rs. 200 per subject which is to be paid in the form of demand draft in favour of secretory, NIOS.


6) Is re-checking or re-evaluation facility also provided by NIOS for practical exams?

Ans- No, NIOS does not provide any provision for re-checking or re-evaluation in practical exams.


7) When is the result for re-checking or re-evaluation announced by NIOS?

Ans-The result for re-checking and re-evaluation is declared within 45 days post the last date for application is over.


8) When is the result withheld (RW) cases decided and how to check their status?

Ans- The decision for RW category is made post 40 to 60 days from the declaration of the result which is displayed on the website and a communication regarding the same is also sent to the student concerned.


9) Are differently abled persons also given any relaxation for the practical exams also?

Ans- No, the consideration is only for the written or theory exams. Rules for practical exams remains the same.


10) How can a student obtain a duplicate mark sheet or certificate?

Ans- A student can apply to the marks and migration section on the application form available at website or regional centre along with the prescribed fees which are to be paid through a demand draft in favour of Secretary, NIOS payable at Noida (U.P).


11) Is NIOS considered at par with other boards?

Ans- All boards whether state or central including NIOS follow NCF 2005. Thus, NIOS holds equal value to that of any state or central board.
